Wisconsin at Indiana Nov 4, 2017 FULL GAME

>>Dave: WELCOME TO BLMINGN, IND PROBABLIED BY KAY JEWELERS. YOU’RE WATCHING THE BIG TEN ON ABC. COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF HOPEFUL WISCONSIN LOOKS TO CONTINUE ITS UNBEATEN SEASON AS THE 8-0 BADGERS TAKE ON THE INDIANA HOOSIERS. WISCONSIN HAS WON 11 STRAIGHT BIG TEN REGULAR SEASON GAMES. AND WELCOME TO THE BOOTH. ALONGSIDE GREG McELROY, I’M DAVE PASCH. WE’LL GET TO TOM LUGINBILL IN A MINUTE. THE SELECTION COMMITTEE PUT THEM NINE. ONE THING FOR CERTAIN THEY HAVE ONE OF THE BEST RUNNING BACKS IN JONATHAN TAYLOR WHO IS BANGED UP BUT WILL PLAY. >>Greg: HE IS A STAR AND HIS AVAIBILI ISUGE F THIS FOOTBA TEAM TO REACH THE HEIGHTS THAT THEY’RE CAPABLE OF REACHING. PAUL CHRYS ADMITTED IT. HE SAID WE’RE A GOOD TEAM WITHOUT HIM BUT A GREAT TEAM WITH HIM. THAT LEFT LEG INJURY IS SOMETHING TO KEEP AN EYE ON WILL IT AFFECT HIS LATERAL AGILITY AGAINST A PRETTY GOOD INDIANA DEFENSE WHO, TOM, WILL HAVE TO CARRY THE LOAD BECAUSE THEY’RE WITHOUT THEIR STARTING QUARTERBACK.>>Tom: THEY ARE AND WHEN THEY LOSE PEYTON RAMSEY, THEY MIGHT LOSE THINGS IN THE QUARTERBACK RUN GAME BUT WITH RICHA LAGOW VERTIC PAS ME.HINGS IN THE A POSSILIT F MORE EXPLOSIVE PLAYS FOR THIS INDIANA OFFENSE HERE IN BLOOMINGTON. GOT A LOT OF BALL COMING RIGHT AROUND THE BEND. WE’LL BE BACK AFTER TS MESSAGE AND A WORD FROM OUR ABC STATIONS.>>Dave: DREARY AND OVERCASS IN BLOOMINGTON. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE 66. CHILLIER THAN EXPECTED HERE AT INDIANA WHERE WISCONSIN HAS DOMINATED THE HOOSIERS. THEY HAVE NOT LOST TO THEM SINCE 2002 WINNING NINE STRAIGHT. AVERAGE MARGIN OF VICTORY, 37 POINTS DURING THAT SPAN. PAUL CHRYST IN HIS THIRD SEASON AS HEAD COACH, FORMER PLAYER AND ASSISTANT COACH AT WISCONSIN. HE’S 29-6 AND 11-1 IN TRUE ROAD GAMES AS THE UW COACH. DEFERRED SELECTION SO THEY WILL KICK OFF HERE TO INDIANA. AND ON ONE HOP IT’S DEVONTE WILLIAMS FOR THE HOOSIERS. HE’S TO THE 24 YARD LINE. RICHARD LAGOW, FORMER OKLAHOMA STATE QUARTERBACK WHO WAS TRANSFERRED TO COMMUNITY COLLEGE IN TEXAS, IS STARTING TODAY FOR THE INJURED PEYTON RAMSEY. LAGOW STARTED ALL 13 LAST YEAR AND THE FIRST FOUR GAMES THIS YEAR INCLUDING A 400-YARD PASSING EFFORT AGAINST OHIO STATE IN A GAME THEY LED AT HALFTIME BUT EVENTUALLY LOST SO IT’S CAREER START NUMBER 18 FOR LAGOW TODAY. HE’S GOT A TRUE FRESHMAN RUNNING BACK IN MORGAN ELLISON. ELLISON DID NOT PLAY LAST WEEK BECAUSE OF INJURY. INDIANA HAS BEEN SO CLOSE THEIR LAST THREE GAMES LOST IN OVERTIME TO MICHIGAN,OS BY EIGHT AGAINST MICHIGAN A TO KE BENZ LUKE TIMIAN.>>Greg: IF YOU LOOK AT EVERY QUARTERBACK ON BOTH ROSTERS HE IS THE MOST TALENTED ARM OF THE BUNCH SO IT’S INTERESTING TO SEE WHETHER OR NOT HE’LL BE ABLE TO .>>Dave: HERE’S ELLISON ON THE RUN. GETS GOOD BLOCKING OUT THE A PICKS UP THE FIRST DOWN. KNOCKED OUT OF BOUNDS BY D’COTA DIXON WHO IS HURT AND DIDN’T PLAY LAST WEEK FOR WISCONSIN. BUT HE’S BACK. ELLISON, NOT HIGHLY RECRUITED BECAUSE OF INJURIES, BROKE HIS LEG TWICE IN HIGH SCHOOL AND WAS INJURED AGAIN LAST WEEK BUT HE’S GOT TALENT. BIG GUY, 6’1″, 225. PLAY ACTION FOR GO IN TROUBLE AND SACKED BACK AT E 3 YARD NE. LA WEEK AGAINST THE ILLINI.S >>Greg: THIS IS GOINGO BE A RY DFICULT TANK FOR THIS INDIANA OFFENSIVE LINE. THEY’RE FACING THREE, FR A FIVE GUYS THATHELL ROTATE IN ON THE BADGERS DEFENSIVE FRONT THAT CAN REALLY PUSH THE POCKET AND AFFECT THE QUARTERBACK. AS YOU CAN SEE RIGHT THERE ADVANTAGE, BADGERS EARLY.>>Dave: WISCONSIN ON PACE FOR ITS MOST SACKS IN 20 YEARS, LAGOW OVER THE MIDDLE. INCOMPLETE, INTENDED FOR SIMMIE COBBS BROKEN UP BY NICK NELSON, AN EXCELLENT MATCH-UP TO WATCH. COBBS THE LEADING RECEIVER AND NELSON, NUMBER TWO IN PASS BREAKUPS IN THE COUNTRY.>>Tom: ONE THING TO KEEP AN EYE ON WITH THE PRESSURE ON THE QUARTERBACK, RICHARD LAGOW, YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND HE’S NOT LIKE PEYTON RAMSEY IN THE SENSE HE CAN MAKE THINGS HAPPEN AND CREATE AND EXTEND PLAYS WITH HIS LEGS. THEY HAVE TO PROTECT HIM IF THEY WANT TO HAVE SUCCESS. >>Dave: THIRD AND 18. YOU KNOW WHAT’S COMING FROM WISCONSIN. YOU GOT TO GET TO THE 49 OF THE BADGERS TO GET A FIRST DOWN. LAGOW SLIDING UP, CLIMBING THE POCKET, FLIPS IT FORWARD. IT’S CAUGHT BY BROOKINS BUT HE’S LEVELED BY T.J. SIMEDWARDS.>>Greg: SO DIFFICULT TO SCHEME AGAINST. EVERY ONE IS ON THIRD AND 18 BUT WISCONSIN IN PARTICULAR BECAUSE OF HOW GOOD THEY ARE AT DEFENDING SCREENS. SO MANY OFFENSES GO TO THE SCREEN GAME ON THIRD AND LONG. WISCONSIN DOESN’T GIVE UP MUCH PRODUCTION IN THOSE TYPE OF PLAYS SO A VERY TOUGH TEAM TO GET OFF TRACK AGAINST.>>Dave: HAYDON WHITEHEAD TO KICK. NICK NELSO IS DEEP AND SIGNALING AT THE 22 YARD LINE. SOPHOMORE ALEX HORNIBROOK IS THE STARTING QUARTERBACK FOR THE BADGERS. HE’S FROM WEST CHESTER, PENNSYLVANIA. COMMITTED TO PITT WHEN PAUL CHRYST WAS THE HEAD COACH THERE AND FOLLOWED HIM TO WISCONSIN. ALEX’S DAD PLAYED FOOTBALL. HIS UNCLE JOHN WAS A QUARTERBACK MATIAMI AND ANOTHER UNCLE BEN DAVIS THE NUMBER TWO DRAFT PICK MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL, 1995. WON HIS LAST 14 STARTS AT QUARTERBACK. THAT’S NUMBER ONE AMONG ACTIVE SIGNAL CALLERS IN THE FBS. NOW, THERE WERE GAMES LAST YEAR HE DIDN’T START BECAUSE OF BART HOUSTON. BUT WITH HOUSTON GONE, HORNIBROOK IS THE GUY THIS YEAR. BUT UP AND DOWN. AND THEY RUN JONATHAN TAYLOR ON FIRST DOWN, LOOK OUT. TAYLOR PAST THE 40 YARD LINE IN OF BOUNDS AROUND THE 33. LOOKED PRETTY HEALTHY ON THAT RUN. >>Greg: NO QUESTION ABOUT IT. AND WITH A LEFT LEG INJURY, YOU COERNED ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT HE CAN GO NORTH AND SOUTH. YOU KNOW HE CAN DO THAT BUT WHAT WAS ENCOUGINGF YOUE OKINAT THIS RUN AND LOOK AT IS STEP THAT HE TAKES, RIG THERE. SEE TT LEFTEG WHERE A LOT OF WEIGHT AND POWER AND MOMENTUM WAS PUTN THAT LTEG ON THE FIRST CUT, DIDN’T SLOW HIM DOWN WHATSOEVER. LOOKED JUST AS EXPLOSIVE AS HE HAS ALL SEASON WHEN HE BURST THROUGH FOR A HUGE GAIN.>>Dave: ALREADY OVER 1200 YARDS AND CARRIED 37 AND THEY’LL RUN HIM OFF THE RIGHT SIDE IN ANOTHER BIG LANE. GAIN OF SEVEN FOR THE TRUE FRESHMAN FROM SALEM, NEW JERSEY, WISCONSIN HAS HAD SO MANY GOOD BACKS OUT OF THETATE OF NEW JERSEY, RON DAYNE WHO WON THE HEISMAN, CORY CLEMENTEN, HILL WAS FROM NEW YORK STATE SO THEY HAVE A LOT OF SUCCESS, GUYS IN THAT AREA. ANTHONY DAVIS AS WELL FROM NEW JERSEY.>>Greg: TREMENDOUS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL PLAYED IN NEW JERSEY. VERY TOUGH, VERY PHYSICAL BRAND OF FOOTBALL.>>Dave: ON SECOND AND THREE, THE BACKUP TAILBACK. BRADRICK SHAW GETTING THE FIRST DOWN. LEANS ON HIM ON THIS FIRST DRIVE.>>Greg: SHAW IS A GOOD BACK TOO. NOT LIKE WHEN TAYLOR COMES OUT YOU GET A REPRIEVE. THERE’S PLENTY OF BKS WH JAMES HAD PRODUCTION THROUGHOUT THE OF THE SEASON SO IT’S A DEEP STABLE OF BACKS AND THAT OFFENSIVE LINE WITH THEIR SIZE AND THE WAY THEY LEAN ON YOU, IT’S VERY DIFFICULT TO MAINTAIN MOMENTUM DEFENSIVELY.>>Dave: THREE TIGHT ENDS INTO THE GAME AND SHAW WILL COME UP ANOTHER GOOD RUN ON FIRST DOWN.>>Greg: OVERSHIFTED LOOK. THE UNBALANCED THREE TIGHT ENDS.>>Tom: SOMETHING THAT TOM ALLEN, FORMER DEFENSIVE COERNED ABOUT AT THE POINT OF NY ATTACK BECAUSE DEFENSIVELY YOU GOT TO ALIGN TO THE STRENGTH BUT THAT’S HOW THEY WORK THE NUMBERS AT WISCONSIN ON OFFENSE. THEY’RE GOING TO GET YOU AT A DISADVANTAGE THEN OVERWHELM YOU AT THE POINT OF ATTACK.>>Dave: HERE IT IS AGAIN, THAT SAME GROUP AT THE BOTTOM OF YOUR SCREEN. THEY RUN BEHIND THOSE TIGHT ENDS. AND GOING TO BE CLOSE FOR TAYLOR. THEY’LL MARK HIM SHORT. BIG THIRD DOWN FOR INDIANA TRYING TO SLOWOWN TS POWERFULRONTOR WISCONSIN. TONY FIELDS ON THE STOP. >>Greg: FIRST TIME THEY HAVE BEEN UP TO THE TANK AT THE POINT OF ATTACK LIKE YOU SAID TRYING TO RUN BEHIND THOSE THREE BIG TIGHT ENDS. NOTHING GOING ON THAT PARTICULAR PLAY. BUT THIRD DOWN IS NO PROBLEM FOR WISCONSIN. THEY ARE THE BEST IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL WHEN IT COMES TO PICKING THESE UP AND THAT’S A LARGE PART DUE TO THE FACT THAT THEY LIVE IN THIRD AND ONE AND TWO WHICH IS VERY MANAGEABLE.>>Dave: THEY’LL HAND IT OFF TO INGOLD AND HE GETS THE FIRST DOWN. HE’S NOT THE NORMAL FULLBACK ALTHOUGH THEY DO GIVE IT TO HIM. NINE CAREER RUSHING TOUCHDOWNS. >>>AUSTIN RAMESH, SENIOR FULLBACK OUT FOR TODAY’S GAME BECAUSE OF INJURY. FIRST AND GOAL FOR WISCONSIN.>>Greg: RAMESH IS A BIG LOSS. I KNOW THAT OBVIOUSLY HAVING A FULLBACK THAT HAS A LOT OF EXPERIENCE SHOULDN’T BE MUCH DROP-OFF AND YOU CAN SEE TOM ALLEN, FIRST FULL SEASON AS THE HEAD COACH HERE IN BLOOMINGTON AFTER SPENDING LAST YEAR AS THE DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR. WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT THE DEFENSE FOR INDIANA HAS MADE TO THIS POINT.>>Dave: WISCONSIN HAS YET TO THROW IT. WON’T HERE AS SHAW IS DROPPED AFTER A GAIN OF ONE. BROUGHT DOWN BY JACOB ROBINSON AND ROBERT McCRAY. THE BEST JOB THEY’VE DONE ON THIS OPENING POSITION.>>Tom: GREG, GOOD JOB BY McCRAY PENETRATING THE P. TOM ALLEN SPOKE OF THAT THIS WEEK IN RELATIONSHIP TO MAKING SURE YOU ARE WHERE YOU NEED TO BE. EVEN IF YOU ARE, THEY MIGHT PUSH YOU RIGHT OFF THE BALL BUT AT LEAST YOU’LL BE IN THE RIGHT SPOT AND DON’T CREATE A HUGE GAP FOR THE RUNNING BACK.>>Greg: TOM, THEY’VE OBVIOUSLY RUN IT ALL THE WAY DOWN THE FIELD. MIGHT BE TIME FOR WISCONSIN TO THINK — TRY TO SCORE THROUGH THE AIR WITH A PLAY ACTION. NOPE, IT’S GARRETT GROSHEK GETTING THE CALL AND THE WALK-ON SCMMAGBY JOME JOHNSON.HE LINE OF>>Dave: INDIANA TRYING TO DO ANYTHING IT CAN TO GAIN MOMENTUM. THIS IS A TEAM THAT HAS BEEN SO CLOSE, BUT STILL WITHOUT A WIN IN BIG TEN PLAY. TOM ALLEN SAID, OK, THOUGH, WE’VE GOT THESE GUYS BELIEVING. THEY’RE STILL FIGHTING FOR US. WE LIKE WHAT WE’RE SEEING. WE KNOW WE’RE CLOSE. THIRD AND GOAL FOR THE BADGERS AND FIRST PASS FOR HORNIBROOK, HAS TIME, NOW GETS IT AND IT’S INTERCEPTED IN THE END ZONE. UNRTHROWN BALL BECAUSE OF ON AN PRESSURE OHORNROOK>>Greg: WISCONSIN GOES RIGHT DOWN THE FIELD BY LEANING ON THEIR BIG OFFENSIVE LINE. YES, THAT OFFENSIVE LINE TO PASS PROTECT NOT SO FORTUNATE. G PL, INANA.>>Dave: ALEX HORNIBROOK HAD TEN TOUCHDOWNS AND NO PICKS PRIOR TO THAT POSSESSION IN THE RED ZONE BUT TURNS IT OVER THANKS TO GREAT PRESSURE BY JACOB ROBINSON TO THE BACKSIDE OF THE QUARTERBACK HORNIBROOK SO INDIANA TAKES OVER AFTER THE SCALES PICK ON ITS 20 YARD LINE. LAGOW, PASS IS HIGH INTENDED FOR TIMIAN. INCOMPLETE.>>Greg: THIS CROWD WANTED A PENALTY. LAGOW IN FOR THE INJURED PEYTON RAMSEY HASN’T GOTTEN MUCH GOING THROUGH THE AIR OTHER THAN THE FIRST PLAY OF THE GAME JUST YET.>>Dave: FOUND A WAY FOR INDIANA ON AGAINST, THAT WAS JUST THE THIRD INTERCEPTION ALL YEAR. THAT’S THE KIND OF PLAY THEY NEEDED THAT THEY HAVEN’T BEEN ABLE TO GET LATE IN GAMES TO WIN. AND THEY’LL RUN IT AND THERE’S A HUGE LANE OFF THE RIGHT SIDE FOR A FIRST DOWN BY MORGAN ELLISON, PAST THE 30 YARD LINE. 11-GUARD GAIN AS YOU LOOK AT PEYTON RAMSEY WHO IS OUT BECAUSE OF INJURY TODAY. NORMALLY THE STARTING QUARTERBACK.>>Greg: IT’S A BIG LOSS, TOO, ESPECIALLY KNOWING HOW WELL WISCONSIN RUSHES THE PASSER. A LITTLE MORE STATIONARY TARGET WITH RICHARD LAGOW UNDER CENTER.>>Dave: LAGOW WITH A TON OF TIME IN TRAFFIC, TRIED TO HIT SIMMIE COBBS. AS YOU WATCHED INDIANA OVER THE KORTOKRAX OF THE YEAR, WHAT HAPE AGAINST OHIO STATE, YOU AND I WERE SITTING AND WATCHING AND GETTING READY FOR OUR GAME HANGING OUT WITH LUGES AND THEY ARE TORCHING OHIO STATE’S DEFENSE IN THAT FIRST HALF AND HAVEN’T HAD THE SAME PASSING GAME SINCE THEN.>>Greg: INJURIES LIKE IAN THOMAS AND DONAVAN HALE, THE WIDE RECEIVER.>>Dave: MUST HAVE BEEN A BIG PART OF IT AND LOST NICK WESTBROOK IN THAT GAME TO INJURY. DEVONTE WILLIAMS PUSHED OUT NEAR THE FIRST DOWN MARKER AT THE 40. HE’LL BE JUST SHORT. THIRD DOW AND ONE.>>Greg: RUNNING GAME PRETTY GOOD FOR INDIANA SO FAR AGAINST WHAT IS USUALLY A VERY STOUT BADGER DEFENSE. DAVENPORT AND GOT A STOPPAGE HERE.>>Referee: THE OFFENSE WAS A S SUBTY INSTITUTION AND TO GET IN A SAFE POSITION TO OFFICIATE THE PLAY. REPLAY, THIRD DOWN.>>Tom: STAND DOWN HERE AND LOOKING AT THIS, RICHARD LAGOW WAS UPSET BECAUSE THERE WASN’T A SUBSTITUTION FOR WISCONSIN SO THEY WERE READY TO GO AND WAS CONFUSED AS TO WHY THE OFFICIAL WOULDN’T BACK AWAY FROM THE CENTER.>>Greg: THOSE THINGS CAN HAPPEN.>>Dave: THIRD AND RUN. HOOSIERS RUN IT, FIRST DOWN FOR ELLISON. BROUGHT DOWN BY DIXON. RUNNING THE FOOTBALL FOR THE HOOSIERS.>>Greg: THEY’VE HAD SUCCESS ON THE PERIMETER TOO. OUTSIDE THE TACKLES WITH SOME SWEEPS TO THE EDGE. WHERE THEY HAVE TO HANG THEIR HAT IN THE RUN GAME BECAUSE WISCONSIN IS EXTREMELY TOUGH TO RUN ON BETWEEN THE TACKLES.>>Dave: NUMBER FIVE IN TOTAL DEFENSE. NUMBER FIVE IN POINTS ALLOWED. FIRST DOWN FOR INDIANA. LAGOW DUMPS IT OFF TO COBBS AND OUT OF BOUNDS AFTER A GAIN OF ABOUT E. CK NSON IN COVERAGE.>>Greg: I LIKE THE AROAC O THIS DRIVE FOR INDIANA. MIXING RUN PASS. TRYING TO RUN IT ON THE PERIMETER. RIGHT THERE, LAGOW LOOKING DOWNFIELD. NOTHING THERE, CHECK IT DOWN. LIVED TO PLAY SECOND DOWN, SEE IF HE CAN’T MAKE THIS THIRD DOWN MANAGEABLE.>>Dave: INDIANA TRYING TO STOP THIS LOSING STREAK. LAST WIN CAME IN ’87 AGAINST OHIO STATE. ELLISON NOT MUCH HERE. WRAPPED UP BY SAGAPOLU THEIR HUGE NOSE GUARD. TERRIFIC ATHLETE.>>Greg: LOOK AT MIKE DeBORD.>>Dave: CAN YOU SEE HIM THROUGH THE FOG? IT’S TOUGH TO SEE HIM. >>Greg: HE’S THERE, THOUGH. ONLY SEVEN FEET FROM US, DONE A DECENT JOB MIXING RUN AND PASS. COMPLETE ANONYMITY.>>Dave: LAGOW GETTING A CHECK FROM THE SIDELINE. PLAY CLOCK AT SIX AT THIRD AND SEVEN FOR INDNA. LAGOW TO THROW AND FINDS AN OPEN RECEIVER. IT’S TO THOMAS — THE TIGHT END THOMAS. WE WEREN’T SURE THAT HE WAS GOING TO PLAY. HE’S BEEN HURT AND THEY THOUGHT HE WASN’T GOING TO GO TODAY BUT >>Greg: WHAT A WEAPON HE IS WORKING AGAINST THE LINEBACKER, NUMBER 53, T.J. EDWARDS, THAT IS MATCH-UP ADVANTAGE, HOOSIERS, EVERY SINGLE TIME AND AN ATHLETIC TIGHT END AGAINST ONE OF THE WORST COVER GUYS ON THE FIELD FOR THE BADGERS.>>De: 1 CATCHES ON THE YEAR NOW FOR THOMAS. PLAY ACTION FOR LAGOW. STEPPING UP. HE WANTED TO THROW IT DEEP, NOW COBBS IS WIDE OPEN ON THE SIDELINE AND HE’S INSIDE THE 30. BEFORE HE’S PUSHED OUT OF PLAY. WISCONSIN WAS THINKING THAT WAS GOING TO BE A DEEP SHOT AND THEY LOST COBBS WHO WAS HANGING OUT HERE ON THE INDIANA SIDELINE.>>Greg: TAKE WHA GIVES YOU. THAT’S WHAT EVERY QUARTERBACK SHOULD BE THINKING EVERY TIME HE DROPS BACK. RIGHT THERE, THE PLAY, TOLD YOU TO GO DEEP BUT FORGOT ABOUT THE OUTLET ON THE RIGHT-HAND SIDE. >>Dave: AT THE 25, A PITCH TO ELLISON. BREAK A TACKLE AN BOY, PUSHED LATE BY DIXON. AN OFFICIAL STEPS IN THERE WITH NOW AN INJURED PLAYER FOR WISCONSIN. IT’S CHRIS ORR STARTING LINEBACKER. THEY LOST A LOT OF PEOPLE THIS YEAR ON DEFENSE INCLUDING JACK NEW ACCORD FROM HONDA.>>Dave: WELL, IF YOU’RE WORKING ON THE STADIUM YOU GET A FREE TICKET. YOU CAN STAND, SIT WHEREVER YOU WANT IN THE END ZONE TO OUR RIGHT AS THEY ARE DOING RENOVATIONS HERE AT MEMORIAL STADIUM WHICH IS IN NEED OF RENOVATION, GOING TO LOOK PRETTY GOOD WHEN THEY’RE DONE. REALLY IMPRESSED WHEN WE TALKED TO TOM ALLEN, THE HEAD COACH FOR ISND YOU THINK OF IIANAVERGRAM THE YEARS, THEY JUST NEVER COULD BE CONSISTENT BUT EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVEN’T WON A BIG TEN GAME THIS YEAR THEY HAVE BEEN IN EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM SAVE THE PENN STATE GAME. LAGOW ROLLING UP AND THROWS IT BACK AND WIDE-OPEN RECEIVER, TOUCHDOWN FOR DEVONTE WILLIAMS. WHAT A CALL OUT OF THE TIME-OUT.>>Greg: KEEP AN EYE ON THE RUNNING BACK THE WHOLE WAY. THEY FAKE IT TO HIM AND STILL THROW IT TO HIM ON THE WHEEL ROUT OUT THE BACK SIDE. OUTSTANDING DESIGN. SO MUCH MOVEMENT GOING TO THE RIGHT. YOU TRY TO SNEAK YOUR RUNNING BACK OUT ON THE WHEEL ROUTE UP THE LEFT. NOBODY IS HOME FOR WISCONSIN. AND LAGOW DELIVERS A DIME OUTSTANDING DRIVE BY INDIANA.>>Dave: YOU TALKED ABOUT DORD MIXING THINGS UP ON THAT DRIVE. BUIT A STARTED WITH THE INTERCEPTION WHEN WISCONSIN WAS DRIVING. HORNIBROOK HIT. PIED OFF B TEGRAY ALES AND THEN THE HOOSIERS GO THE LENGTH H THIS TOUCHDOWN PASS TO STRIKE FIRST AT HOME.>>Dave: TERRIFIC PLAY BY J.T. BARRETT AND NOW THEY GO TO IOWA CITY ON AT 3:30 EASTERN TIME. RIGHT BACK IN THE CONVERSATION FOR THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYER YUM. NUMBER NINE ACCORDING TO THE COMMITTEE. MIAMI ANOTHER UNDEFEATED TEAM ONE SPOT LOWER, BIG GAME AGAINST VIRGINIA TECH. 7-0 HOOSIERS. AND THE BADGERS RUN IT OUT OF THE E ZONANDHORTF THE 20 YARD LINE IS TINDAL. WISCONSIN’S WON 22 STRAIGHT AGAINST UNRANKED OPPONENTS. THEY’VE WON NINE STRAIGHT GAMES OVERALL WHICH IS THE NUMBER TWO ACTIVE STREAK IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL. 11 STRAIGHT WINS IN THE REGULAR SEASON IN BIG TEN PLAY. AS MENTIONED NE SAIGHT WINS OVERALL. THAT’S TIED WITH GEORGIA, MIAMI WHICH WE MENTIONED IS NUMBER TEN IN THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAFF RANKINGS. THEY’RE NUMBER ONE WITH 12 STRAIGHT WINS. BUT YOU LIKE THE HOKIES TONIGHT.>>Greg: I THINK T HOKIE WL T IT DONE. WE’LL SEE.>>Dave: PLAY ACTION PASS FOR HORNIBROOK AND DUMPS IT OFF TO NEVILLE FOR A SHORT GAIN AS WE CHECK IN WITH CASSIDY HUBBARTH. CAS>>>LOOKING TO BOUNCE BACK AND TRACE McSORLEY FINDS DaeSEAN HAMILTON WHO DOES THE REST, NITTI LIONS IN THE BATTLE FOR THE LAND GRANT TROPHY. BACK TO YOU.>>Dave: ALL RIGHT, CASSIDY, LOOKING FORWARD TO SEE YOU WEDNESDAY FOR A LITTLE BASKETBALL HOOPS IN THE BAY AREA.>>Greg: A LITTLE SELF-PROMOTION. I LIKE IT. >>Dave: PROMOTING CASSIDY, NOT ME AND JEFF VAN GUNDY WILL BE ON THE CALL AS WELL. JONATHAN TAYLOR GETTING THE CALL AND FIVE NOW. FOR WISCONSIN. LOOKED ON THAT THIRST DRIVE LIKE THE BADGERS WERE GOING TO RUN ALL OVER INDIANA BUT THE TURNOVER CHANGED EVERYTHING. PAUL CHRYST TOLD US THIS RANKING, NUMBER NINE, GOT A BIG DEAL. WE GOT A LONG WAY TO G THE PLAYERS AREN’T WORRIED ABOUT IT. NOBODY IS UPSET. HE’S NOT REALLY USING IT AS A BIG DEAL FOR MOTIVATION. THINKS THEY’RE GOOD ENOUGH WITHOUT IT. PRESRE AGAIN ON HORND DOWN HE GOES. 19 YARD LINE. ROBERT McCRAY IS THERE.>>Greg: PRESSURE COMING FROM EVERYWHERE. WATCH HIM MOVE UNDERNEATH AND HAVE MOTION AND THAT’S TWICE NOW THAT INDIANA HAS GOTTEN HOME FROM THE RIGHT-HAND SIDE WHICH IS THE BETTER OF THE TWO SIDES FOR WISCONSIN WHEN IT COMES TO PASS PROTECTION. OUTSTANDING JOB OVERLOADING THE PROTECTION.>>Dave: LOTTI TO PUNT. AND IT’S FAIR CAUGHT. AROUND THE 36 YARD LINE BY TIMIAN. 45-YARD PUNT. NO RETURN. COLLEGE FOOTBALL ON ABC AT 3:30. CLEMSON/N.C. STATE AND THIS FOR THE DIVISION TITLE BUT CLEMSON STILL IN THE PLAYOFF MIX. BIGGER GAME FOR THEM, VIRGINIA TECH/MIAMI AS WE MENTIONED COMING UP TONIGHT ON ABC AT 8:00 EASTERN TIME. SO YOU THINK TECH WINS AND YOU GOT CLEMSON ROLLING IN — >>Greg: I THINK CLEMSON WINS COMFORTABLY. LAST YEAR N.C. STATE MISSED A FIELD GOAL AT THE BUZZER AND ENDED UP GOING TO OVERTIME AND CLEMSON SURVIVED. THEY WON’T BE SNEAKING UP ON CLEMSON THIS YEAR. THEY ARE VERY AWARE OF HOW CAPABLE N.C. STATE IS ESPECIALLY ALONG THAT DEFENSIVE FRONT.>>Dave: ITY THAT’S GOING FOB A GOOD GAME AND N.C. STATE I THINK WILL PLAY VERY GOOD AT HOME. LAGOW WIDE OPEN. TIMIAN, IF HE THROWS THAT OUT IN FRONT OF TIMIAN HE MIGHT STILL BE RUNNING BECAUSE THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD WAS WIDE OPEN. IT’S A GAIN OF CLOSE TO TEN. AND MARK HIM JUST SHORT, SECOND AND ONE. >>Greg: YOU AREN’T KIDDING. A LOT OF GREEN GRASS IF THAT BALL WOULD HAVE HIT HIM IN STRIDE. A BIG PLAY THAT WASN’T.>>Dave: LAGOW THROWS AGAIN ON THE MON TO COBBS. THIS IS WHY WHE WE FOUND OUT LAGOW WAS GNG TO START. >>Greg: WASN’T THAT BIG OF A CONCERN, SHOULD HE BE FOR INDIANA FANS. >>Greg: HE’SLAYE AOT OF FOOTBALL, 1th START TODAY. HAS DONE SO AND PLAYED WELL AGAINST TOP LEVEL COMPETITION AND NICE RHYTHM SO FAR.>>Dave: THREW FOR OVER 400 YARDS AGAINST OHIO STATE. A PENALTY MARKER AND COACHES SAID WHEN HE GOT PERCHED — >>Referee: PRIOR TO THE SNAP FALSE START, OFFENSE, NUMBER 62. VE-YD PELT STL FIT DO.>>Dave: WHEN YOU’RE A SENIOR YOU GET BENCHED FOR A FRESHMAN. >>Greg: NOT OFTEN YOUR BACKUP QUARTERBACK IS A CAPTAIN. HE’S EXTREMELY WELL RESPECTED IN THE LOCKER ROOM ANDS THAT OWE ONLY GROWN OVER THE LAST FEW WEEKS WHEN ELFERS DEMOTED TO THE BACKUP SPOT. PEYTON RAMSEY EARNED IT BUT RICHARD LAGOW IS BELOVED AMONGST HIS TEAMMATES. NO DENYING THAT.>>Dave: FIRST AND 15 AFTER THE FIVE-YARD PENALTY. ANOTHER QUICK RELEASE BY LAGOW AND QUICK CATCH BY TIMIAN. SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, I BELIEVE YOU’RE FAMILIAR WITH THAT AREA.>>Greg: BIG FAN OF SOUTHLAKE TEXAS. >>Dave: WENT TO THE SAME HIGH SCHOOL AS YOU.>>Greg: SOUTHLAKE CARROLL DRAGONS. I DIDN’T KNOW THAT UNTIL YESTERDAY. GOT TO GIVE MY DRAGON FRIEND A LITTLE LOVE. WITH AL WASSEN.>>De: LOWNTO TR, BOY, THERE’S A FLAG AND SHOULD BE BECAUSE NELSON WAS ALL OVER . TOUGH MATCH-UP. NELSON IS GD BUT COBBS GOT ABOUT FIVE INCHES ON HIM. IT’LL BE A FIRST DOWN.>>Referee: PASS INTERFERENCE, DEFENSE, NUMBER 11, THE BALL BEING PLACED AT THE SPOT OF THE FOUL, AUTOMATIC FIRST DOWN.>>Greg: SIMMIE COBBS LIKE YOU SAID IS A BIG TARGET AND THAT’S THE FIRST TIME WE’VE SEEN A SLANT BY INDIANA FALL INCOMPLETE. AS A RESULT, THE DEFENDER WAS HOLDING COBBS AS HE TRIED TO RELEASE.>>Dave: LAGOW, PLAY FAKEOING DOWNTOWN INTO THE END ZONE. JUST OVERSHOT. LUKE TIMIAN. WALK-ON TRANSFER FROM OKLAHOMA STATE.>>Tom: REALLY LIKE THIS GAME PLAN FOR INDIANA. NOTICE HOW QUICKLY THEY’RE GETTING THE BALL OUT AND KNOW THEY HAVE TO SET UP SOME RUNS HERE AND THERE THROUGH THE PASS BUT DIFFICULT TO RUSH THE PASS WHEN THE BALL IS OUT OF YOUR HANDS SO QUICK.>>Dave: ARE YOU TALKING FROM LAGOW TAKE ANOER SHOT. ANOTHER FL. THAT MIGHT BE UNCATCHABLE, THOUGH, TRYING TO HIT COBBS. THEY GET NELSON FOR A SECOND PASS INTERFERENCE CALL. THAT BALL WAS OUT OF BOUNDS, THOUGH. WHAT DID YOU THINK. >>Greg: GOT TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE CATCH RADIUS. >>Referee: DEFENSE NUMBER 11. REPLACEDTY SPOT OF THE FOUL.>>Greg: I DON’T THINK IT WAS UNCATCHABLE. THE TUG ON THE LEFT ARM OF COBBS. IF HE IS RUNNING TO THAT SPOT WHERE THE BALL IS GOING TO FALL INCOMPLETE, HE CAN MAKE A PLAY ON THAT IF THAT LEFT ARM WASN’T BEING GRABBED BEHIND. SO IT’S A GOOD CALL BY THE OFFICIAL AND THE SECOND TIME THAT THEY’VE CALLED IT ON NICK NELSON WHO NEEDS TO BE SMARTER AND A LITTLE LESS PHYSICAL.>>Dave: HERE’S ELLISON, AND ABLE TO BREAK A TACKLE. HE WAS TRYING TO GET OUTSIDE BUT ALEC JAMES MADE SURE HE DIDN’T ALONG WITH GARRET DOOLEY SO A TACKLE FOR A LOSS BACK AT THE 16 YARD LINE. I’M WITH YOU, THOUGH, I LOOK AT THAT REPLAY AGAIN, I THINK YOU’RE RIGHT. I THINK THAT WAS A GOOD CALL ON THE INTERFERENCE. SEE IF THEY SNAP IT HERE ON SECOND AND 12 WITH SIX SECONDS TO GO IN THE QUARTER OR WAIT TILL AFTER THE COMMERCIAL AND THAT’S WHAT THEY’LL DO. THEY HAVE A 7-0 LEAD ON THE NUMBER NINE TEAM IN THE COUNTRY. AND WE’LL BE BACK AFTER THIS MESSE A A WORD FROM OUR ABC STATIONS. >>Dave: WISCONSIN DOWN IN THE BALL GAME FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE THE OPENER AGAINST UCONN STATE. THAT DEFICIT LAST AGAINST UTAH STATE.>>Greg: WONDERING IF THEY CAN HANDLE ADVERSITY, THE ANSWER IS YES. THE FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON IS ANY INDICATOR.>>Dave: MEANWHILE, INDIANA HASN’T HANDLED ADD VIRUSTY WELL. GOT A TAKEAWAY FOR JUST THE SEVENTH TIME THIS YEAR AND COMPLETELY CHANGED MOMENTUM. NOW THEY GOT A CHANCE TO ADD TO THEIR LEAD. SECOND AND 12 AT THE 16 YARD LINE OF WISCONSIN. LAGOW TO THROW OVER THE MIDDLE. ALMOST INTERCEPTED. BY T.J. EDWARDS, THE SEMIFINALIST FOR THE BUTKUS AWARD.>>Greg: OH, MAN, TRYING TO HIT THE CROSSING ROUTE. ISOLATION, YOU SEE TIMIAN SHAKE EDWARDS ORIGINALLY. THAT’S THE MATCH-UP YOU WANT, UNFORTUNATELY FOR THE HOOSIERS, WISCONSIN WAS IN ZONE. PLAYED PERFECTLY BY IT. EDWARDS ALMOST WAS REWARDED WITH AN INTERCEPTION.>>Dave: LET’S SEE IF INDIANA PLAYS IT SAFE KNOWING THEY’LL LIKELY HAVE THREE. IF THEY TRY TO FORCE THE BALL, SOMETHING THAT LOW DE IN HIS CAREER, THEY MAKE MISTAKES AND IT IS A SHORT THROW. BREAKING A TACKLE, THOUGH IS WHOP PHILYOR, ONE OF THE GREAT NAMES IN THE COUNTRY AND HE FIGHTS FOR EXTRA YARDAGE SO MAKING A SHORT FIELD GOAL. WILL THEY GO FOR IT. FOURTH DOWN AND ABOUT THREE.>>Greg: YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE FIELD GOAL. ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO AND FIELD GOALS, REMEMBER, JUST A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO AGAINST MICHIGAN STATE, INDIANA HAD TO SETTLE FOR A FIELD GOAL MULTIPLE TIMES INSIDE THE RED ZONE AND ENDED UP COMING UP SHORT AGAINST THE SPARTANS. FIELD GOALS AREN’T GOING TO NECESSARILY LEAD YOU TO A VICTORY. WHEN THEY GET DOWN TO THIS PART OF THE FIELD THEY HAVE TO EXECUTE AT A HIGHER LEVEL BECAUSE WISCONSIN WILL ABSOLUTELY ANSWER AT SOME POINT OR ANOTHER. GRIFFIN OAKES>>Dave: KICK IT OFF WITH YOUR “COUNTDOWN” CREW. ALL THE WRECKING STORY, INJURY UPDATE, PREVIEWS OF EVERY GAME STREAMING LIVE ON THE ESPN APP. A LOT OF TRADES THIS WEEK. JIMMY GAROPPOLO GOING TO THE PATRIOTS THEN THE NINERS.>>Greg: I THINK THEY WOULD BRING HIM ALONE SLOWLY. THAT SUPPORTING CASS IN THE BAY AREA IS NOT SO GOOD.>>Dave: NEITHER IS THE OFFENSIVE LINE.>>Greg: NEITHER IS THE OFFENSIVE LINE BUT IT’S OBVIOUSLY A LONG-TERM PROJECTION AND I’M A BIG FAN OF JIMMY GAROPPOLO’S. I THINK HE HAS A LIVE ARM. HE’S ATHLETIC AND YOU HAVE TO BE IN THE NFL IN THIS DAY AND AGE, VERYXCITOEE WT HE’S GOG TOO WH AN OPPORTUNITY TO LEAD A FRANCHISE.>>Dave: TINDAL IS DEEP FOR THE BADGERS ON A SHORT KICKOFF AND FEELS IT ON THE 7 YARD LINE. TOHE T 27th.>>Greg: SO FAR INDIANA HAS HAD A LOT OF SUCCESS WITH THEIR FRONT FOUR GETTING HOME TO CREATEHE TNT IERCEPTION RIGHT HERE ON THE TE STUNT AND THEN OVERLOADING THE PTECTION ON THE RIGHT-HANDE. ON THAT LAST THIRD DOWN THAT RE. GREAT JOB SO FAR BY DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR AND HEAD COACH TOM ALLEN MIXING THE LOOK, DROPPING BACK AND YET ALSO BRINGING PRESSURE FROM TIME TO TIME. NOT PLAYING THE SAME COVERAGE EVERY SINGLE TIME AS WELL. MAKING HORNIBROOK THINK AND REACT MORE SO THAN STICKING TO HIS PRESNAP PROGRESSIONS.>>Dave: BACK TO JONATHAN TAYLOR ON THE GROUND AND HE MUSCLES HIS WAY OUT TO THE 31 YARD LINE. FOUR ON THE PLAY — >>Tom: AN IMPORTANT TIME OF THE ME F THE INDIANA DEFENSE. A WEEK AGO UP 14-0 ON THE ROAD AIR COME OUT OFHE STADIUM WITH THE DEFENSE. THEY’VE MADE A PLAY IN THE END ZONE AND CREATED ARNOVER. OFFENSE IS CAPITALIZED. DEFENSE HAS TO STEP UP BIG HERE.>>Dave: YOU KNOW WISCONSIN IS NOT GOING TO CHANGE WHAT THEY DO. EVEN FACING A DEFICIT ASHEY RUNT AGAIN, TAYLOR DROPPED FOR NATE HOFF, ROBERT McCRAY GETTING THE BETTER OF THE OFFENSIVE LINE FOR WISCONSIN RIGHT NOW.>>Greg: JUST A GREAT JOB. BY THIS INDIANA DEFENSE AND THE RIGHT SIDE COMPLETELY RE-ESTABLISHED THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE AND PUTS WISCONSIN IN THIRD AND LONG. LOOK AT THE RIGHT SIDE. LOOK AT 91. ROBINSON AND 74, HOFF AND McCRAY. COMPLETELY PUSHED THIS BADGER FRONT BACK AND SET UP A DIFFERENT DOWN FOR HORNIBROOK.>>Dave: THIS IS WHERE THE HOOSIERS WANT HORNIBROOK HAVING TO MAKE A PLAY WITH HIS ARMND HE DOES. A.J. TAYLOR ALL THE WAY NEAR THE 40 YARD LINE. TERRIFIC THROW FACING PRESSURE BY HORNIBROOK.>>Greg: OUTSNDIN J BY HORNIBROOK, RECOGNIZING WHERE HE HAD AN ADVANTAGE. HE KNEW THAT HE HAD TAYLOR, SOME SPEERIGHT THERE IN THE SLOT. ON A VERTICAL ROUTE AGAINST THE SAFETY. THAT’S ADVANTAGE, BADGERS FROM A MATCH-UP STANDPOINT AND A TERRIFIC THROW WITH HORNIBROOK HAVING A LITTLE PRESSURE IN HIS LAP.>>Dave: THEY GET 32 YARDS THE 39 YARD LINE OF INDIANA. BACK TO THROW AGAIN. GOING TO CHUCK IT DOWN TO FUMAGALLI WHO DOES WELL TO GET CK T THEINE OF SCRIMMAGE AND AC YARDAGE. 28th CATCH FOR THE FORMER WALK-ON TIGHT END.>>Greg: I LIKE THE THOUGHT PROCESS THERE BY OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR JOE RUDOLPH. YOU GET A BIG PLAY AND BREAK IT OPEN A LITTLE BIT AND HAVE MOMENTUM. NOW YOU’RE IN A POSITIVE PART OF THE FIELD TO POTENTIALLY TAKE A SHOT. NOTHING OPEN DOWNFIELD SO A GOOD JOB BY INDIANA’S DEFENSE BUT I LIKE THE AGGRESSIVE NATURE THERE ON FIRST DOWN TO TRY TO STEAL A BIG PLAY.>>Dave: RUN IT AGAIN, HERE’S TAYLOR. A PRETTY GOOD JOB SINCE THIS HOPING DRIVE AND TAYLOR TAKING THE BIG TEN BY STORM. TRUE FRESHMAN ORIGINALLY COMMITTED TO RUTGERS. THE CONCERN THEY WEREN’T SURE HOW FAST HE WAS. NOBODY REALLY KNEW AND HE WAS ON THE TRACK TEAM AND HE LIT IT UP AND THEN HE WAS ON EVERYBODY’S RADAR. HE’S THE BIG TEN LEADING RUSHER. AND HE’S GOING TO BE A STAR. JUST ANOTHER IN THE LONG LINE OF INCREDIBLE RUNNING BACKS THAT H.>>Dave: THIRD AND SIX, HORNIBROOK WITH TIME. IT’S COMPLETE, FIRST DOWN AND CEPHUS INSIDE THE 20 YARLINE Greg: JUST A GREAT JOB UP FRONT. MORE PRESSURE FROM INDIAN OFNSE LI, THEY PICK IT ALL UP ON THE RIGHT-HAND SIDE. EVERYBODY IS ON THE CORRECT DEFENDER. AND TH HAVE MAN COVERAGE I THE BACK END. CEPHUS JUST HAS TO WIN ON A CROSSING ROUTE AND DOES A GREAT JOB OF DOING THAT, GETTING SOME SEPARATION AND MAKING SOME YARDS AFTER CATCH.>>Dave: CEPHUS SHAKEN UP. HE WASUESTNABL ALL WEEK. OUT THERE, PLAY ACTION, HORNIBROOK HAS A MAN WIDE OPEN AND EASY TOUCHDOWN TO ALEC INGOLD, HIS 12th CAREER TOUCOWN. THE GUY IS A FULLBKNDAS 12 TOUCHDOWNS TO HIS NAME.>>Greg: HARD PLAY ACTION AND IT JUST ALLOWS NOTHING BUT A WIDE-OPEN SPACE FOR INGOLD TO GO RIGHT THROUGH THE DEFENDS. LEFT HIS HAND AWKWARDLY AND SO WISCONSIN HAS TO PUNT MIDWAY THROUGH THE SECOND QUARTER.>>Greg: INDIANA BRINGING CORNER PRESSURE OFF THE RIGHT-HAND SIDE. THEY DIDN’T HAVE ENOUGH TO BLOCK IT. STRANGE THE WAY HORNIBROOK WAS STEPPING UP. HE HAD CEPHUS ON THE OVERROUTE WIDE OPEN. LOOKED LIKE HE WAS A LITTLE INDECISIVE AS TO WHERE HE WANTED TO GO WITH THE FOOTBALL.>>Dave: CONNOR ALLEN LISTED AS THE BACKUP PUNTER DID NOT PUNT EARLIER. GETS DRILLED. WOW. TERRIBLE MISTAKE BY WISCONSIN. WHAT IS TINDAL THINKING THERE. UNLESS HE GOT BLOCKED. THAT’S GOT TO BE THE ONLY REASON AS HE GOT PUSHED HARD INTO TIMIAN. YOU CAN’T MAKE THAT MISTAKE. UNDERSTANDABLY TIMIAN IS SHAKEN UP. LET’S SEE IF TINDAL GETS SHOVED INTO HIM. OH, YEAH, JAMES PUSHES HIM RIGHT IN THE BACK. BECAUSE IT’S SUCH A VIOLENT COLLISION THEY’LL PROBABLY STILL THROW THE FLAG BUT IAC JES CLEARLY PUSHES TINDAL INTO TIMIAN, THE RETURN MAN.>>Greg: YOU CAN KEEP AN EYE TOO. OBVIOUSLY GOT PUSHED IN BUT THEY MIGHT TAKE A LOOK AT THIS FOR TARGETING TOO. THAT’S A DEFENSELESS PLAYER, TIMIAN IS, CATCHING THE PUNT. WAS IT A FORCIBLE BLOW TO THE HEAD OR NECK AREA? I THINK THAT’S SOMETHING THEY MIGHT TAKE A LOOK AT TOO BUT GLAD TO SEE TIAN SITTING UP AND- >>Dave: HE WAS BLOCKED ILLEGALLY THOUGH.>>Greg: GLAD THE OFFICIALS ARE TAKING THEIR TIME. TO FIGURE OUT WHAT’S GOING TO GO ON. WITH THICALL.>>Dave: I THINE FLAG UP BECAUSE OF THE ILLEGAL BLOCK IN THE BACK GETTING SHOVED INTO THE RETURN MAN DESPITE HOW THARD THAT COLLISION WAS. YOU SEE THE COALITION AND EVERYBODY WANTS TO OOH AND AAH BUT THAT’S Trone day.>>Dave: TACO BELL SAY POWDER PARTNER AND WE HAVE A LOOKOUT FOR TACO BELL STUDENT SECTIONS AND PASSIONATE FANS LIKE THESE AT GAMES ALL SEASON LONG. NO DOUBT — MAYBE THEYON’T CARE. THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE WARMER. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE 65 AND IT’S IN THE LOW 50s. INDIANA DOES NOT HAVE A WIN OVER AN A.P. TOP TEN TEAM IN 30 YEARS. 36 IN A ROW THEY’VE LOST.>>Greg: THAT IS CRAZY.>>Dave: HAVE THE LEAD BY THREE AND RUN ON FIRST DOWN. ELLISON DROPPED AFTER A SHORT GAIN AND LOST THE BALL. WISCONSIN HAS IT, FERGUSON BUT WILL RULE THE RUNNING BACK DOWN.>>Greg: OH, MAN. LOOK AT HOW ELLISON HAS THAT BALL IN HIS LEFT HAND. OH, YEAH, YOU CAN SEE HE HAS IT — HIS REAR END GOES DOWN AND BALL TPOPS UP. BANG-BANPLAY AND BEEN CATASTROPHIC.>>Referee: PREVIOUS PLAY IS UNDER FURTHER REVIEW.>>Dave: THEY’LL LOOK AT IT. THE ONLY THING IS A DEFENDER WAS TRYING TO STRIPT WLE HE WAS STILL UP. DID THE BALL COME OUT HERE BEFORE HE WENT DOWN.>>Greg: A GOOD ANE.GL YOU CAN SEE RIGHT THERE STILL IN HIS POSSESSION OR AT LEAST IT APPEARS AS THOUGH WAS STILL IN HIS POESSSSION AT THAT POINT. THEN, OF COURSE, CLEARLY WHEN HE’S DONE YOU SEE THE BALL POP UP AND GO VERTICAL. ANOTHER LOOK AT IT. THE BALL MOVING RIGHT THERE.>>Dave: IT’S TYLER JOHNSON TRYING TO RIP ITOUT. I DON’T KNOW THAT ELLISON HAS LOST POSSESSION OF IT BECAUSE THE RULING WAS HE’S DOWN AND NOT EVIDENCE TO OVERTURN IT.>>Greg: YOU C SANEE THE BALL S AND THAT’S PRIOR TO HIM BEING DOWN. MAN, THAT’S CLOSE. I COULD ACTUALLYEE S THEM OVERTURNING THIS. I REALLY COULD BECAUSE THAT BALL IS MOVING AWAY, SEE, RIGHT THERE. THAT BALL IS OUT.>>Dave: IS HE DOWN, THOUGH?>>Greg: SEE, LOOK AT THE BL AL OUT. ESDON’T LOOK AS THOUGH HE’S DOWN AT THAT POINT.>>Dave: I DON’T KNOW, THOUGH. HE IS STILL HANGING O TNO IT. DOES HE LOSE POSSESSION THOUGH? I MEAN EVEN THOUGH JOHNSON’S PULLING ON THE BALL, DID ELLISON LOSE POSSESSION?>>Greg: FROM THAT ANGLE RIGHT THERE IS PROBABLY THE BEST ANGLE WE HAVE. AS YOU SEE THAT BALL START TO GO OUT. >>Dave: YOU THINK IT SHOULD BE OVERTURNED. >>Greg: I THINK IT SHOULD BE OVERTURNED. >>Dave: I DON’T THINK SO. I THINK HE WAS DOWN. >>Greg: USUALLY DOWN THE MIDDLE AND 50/50 USUALLY THE CALL ON THE FIELD STANDS BUT RIGHT THERE THAT BALL LOOKED LIKE IT WAS MOVING AWAY FROM ELLISON. IT ALMOST LOOKED LIKE IT WAS IN THE POSSESSION OF THE DEFENDER. MAN THIS, IS GOING TO BE A HUGE, HUGE CALL.>>Dave: IT HAS TO BE INDISPUTABLE EVIDENCE BEYOND ALL DOUBT SO THERE’S STILL DOUBT.>>Greg: I COULD SEE IT GOING BOTH WAYS. TH LG TT MEANS THEY’RE IT TAKES LOO LOOKING AT IF IT’S A TURNOVER WHERE DO YOU SPOT THE BALL AT AND WHERE IS THE CLOCK AT. USUALLY FOR A CALL THAT STANDS THEY DON’T TAKE THIS LONG SO THAT SHOULD BE TELLING IF YOU’RE A WISCONSIN FAN.>>Greg: LOOK ONE MORE TIME. 59, JOHNSON. IS THAT BALL IN HIS POSSESSION?>>Referee: AFTER FURTHER REVIEW THE RUNNER WAS NOT DOWN PRIOR TO THE BALL COMING OUT. THE BALL WAS RECOVERED BY WISCONSIN ON THE 21 YARD LINE. IT’LL BE THIRST DOWN AND TEN, WISCONSIN. GAME CLOCK OPERATOR, PLEASE RESET THE GAME CLOCK T 7:02. 7:02. >>Dave: I’M REALLY SURPRISED THAT THEY FELT THAT WAS BEYOND ALL DOUBT.>>Greg: I’M ACTUALLY NOT. IF YOU SEE THAT LAST ANGLE THAT WE SHOWED AND YOU SEE THAT BALL DISLODGED, IT’S ALMOST IN THE POSSESSION OF TYLER JOHNSON AND THEN AS ELLISON HIT T GROUND, T THOUGH THAT’S WHEN THE BALL POSSESSION WAS LOST. BUT THE POSSESSION WAS ACTUALLY LOST PRIOR TO THAT.>>Referee: AFTER THE PLAY WAS OVER, UNORMANLE CONDUCT, INDIANA BENCH. HALF THE DISTANCE TO THE GOAL.>>Dave: THEY HAD THE WARNING EARLIER. THEY WERE WARNED JUST A COUPLE OF PLAYS AGO AND THAT’S WHY THEY GOT THE FLAG AND WILL PUT THE BALL AT THE 10 YARD LINE OF INDIANA WITH THE BADGERS LOOKING TO TAKE THE LEAD.>>Greg: MAN, WHAT A HUGE TURN OF EVENTS.>>Dave: NOT FIRST AND GOAL. JUST OUTSIDE THE 10. AND THEY GOT JONATHAN TAYLOR IN AT TAILBACK. 11 RUSHING TOUCHDOWNS LEADING THE BIG TEN AND GIVE IT TO HIM HERE. HE MAKES IT TO THE 8 YARD LINE. TRI TRIPPED UP BY SCALES.>>Tom: EQUALLY AS CRITICAL FOR BOTH TEAMS WHEN YOU CONSIDER, FELLAS, WISCONSIN HAS STRUGGLED TO PUT TOGETHER STAINED DRIVES OUTSIDE THE OPENING STANZA OF THE FIRST QUARTER. TO GET A FIELD POSITION BUMP LIKE THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT T DOCTOR ORDERED FOR THIS WISCONSIN OFFENSE.>>Dave: HE’LL SPREAD IT OUT HERE FIVE WIDE ON SEND DOWN ATHE IIANA YARD LINE. HORNIBROOK THROWS INTO THE END ZONE. PULLED IN FOR A TOUCHDOWN BY CEPHUS AND THE BADGERS HAVE THE LEAD.>>Greg: WHAT A PLAY BY ALEX HOIBRO, THE QUARTERBACK AND CEPHUS MAKING THE CONTESTED CATCH ON THE FADE. WHAT A HUGE TURN OF EVENTS IN THE SPAN OF JUST THREE PLAYS.>>Dave: SIXTH TOUCHDOWN CATCH OF THE SEASON FOR THE SOPHOMORE FROM MAIKON, GEORGIA, THE FORMER HIGH SCHOO BASTBAL PLAYER DN’T PLAY A LOT OF FOOTBALL IN HIGH SCHOOL. . BECOME A VERY GOOD RECEIVER FOR WISCONSIN, GIVES THEM THEIR FIRST LEAD.>>Greg: LOOK AT HOW HORNIBROOK HANGS IN THERE. THEY OVERLOAD THE PROTECTION AGAIN AND ROBERT McCRAY IS UNBLOCKED. THE TACKLE DOES THE RIGHT JOB INSIDE FADE ROUTE GIVING YOU ALL KINDS OF GREEN GRASS IN THE CORNER, NOT A GOOD THROW BY HORNIBROOK, IT’S INSIDE AND LOW. BUT THAT’S IN LARGE PART DUE TO THE CONTACT THAT OCCURRED IN THE BACKFIELD. JUST A TREMENDOUS JOB BY CEPHUS. GOING VERTICAL. MAKING T CONTESTED CATCH. AND REELING IN WHAT IS A HUGE, HUGE PLAY CAPITALIZING ON THAT SUDDEN CHANGE MOMENTUM PROVIDED BY THEIR DEFENSE. >>Dave: TOM ALLEN STILL UPSET. I DON’T KNOW IF HE’S UPSET ABOUT GETTING FLAGGED FOR THE SIDELINE ISSUE OR BECAUSE THEY OVERTURNED THE RULING ON THE FIELD THAT THE RUNNER WAS DOWN. AND THE KICKOFF GOES THROUGH THE END ZONE. A TOHBACK. TO CASSIDY.>>Cassidy: THANKS, DAVE, JERSEY MIKE’S A PERFORMANCE ABOVE. 2-6 UMASS. ROSSCOMUS. MINUTEMEN UP 20-13 ON THE S.E.C. NETWORK. DAVE, GREG, TOM.>>Dave: WOW. >>Greg: WOW.>>Dave: HOW ABOUT THAT ONE. >>Greg: UMASS.>>Dave: MISSISSIPPI STATE TO ALABAMA MAYBE?>>Greg: YOU THINK. >>Dave: AND BEING TOLD HOW GREAT THEY WERE AFTER THAT DOMINANT PERFORMANCE AGAINST TEXAS A&M. I BELIEVE THEY CALL THAT RAT POISON IN THE S.E.C. IS THAT NOT CORRECT? HERE’S DEVONTE WILLIAMS AND HE GETS MAYBE A YDSE TRIED TO RUN F. THIS IS A MOMENT AGO. WE HAD TOM ALLEN, NOT SURE IF HE’S UPSET ABOUT THE PENALTY OR UPSET ABOUT REPLAY. HE WOULDN’T LET THE SIDE JUDGE LEAVE. LAGOW, PASS IS HIGH. INCOMPLETE. TRIED TO HIT PHILYOR, THIRD AND LONG.>>Greg:S’S HOT. NO DENYING THAT. FELL AS THOUGH THEY WERE IN CONTROL AND THEN OBVIOUSLY YOU FUMBLE, TWO PLAYS LATER THEY SCORE AND GET THE BALL ON THE 11 YARD LINE. YOU HAVE A PERSONAL FOUL. YOU GOT TO GET YOUR COMPOSURE ON THE SIDELINE AND FOR YOUR OFFENSE AS WELL. YOU GOT TO DISPLAY A LITTLE MORE POISE AS THEY MOVE FORWARD BECAUSE IT’S A LONG FOOTBALL GAME. LAGOW STEPS UP. BEING CHASED. GETS RID OF THE PASS AND IT’ CAUGHT BUT SHORT OF THE FIRST DOWN. COBBS WRAPPED UP BY NELSON AND SO INDIANA HAS TO PUNT AND LAGOW LITTLE SHAKEN UP. >>Tom: GOTOL RLED UP RIGHTN FRONT OF ME. ANOTHER QUICK INJURY UPDATE ON DEFENSE TOO. CHRIS ORR OUT FOR THIS GAME FOR WISCONSIN.>>Dave: HIT BY HUNTERTYLER JOH.>>Greg: LANDED A LITTLE AWKWARDLY AS HE TRIED TO ESCAPE THE POCKET. LAGOW NOT THE MOST FLEET OF FOOT.>>Dave: THIS IS RETURNABLE FOR NELSON BUT HE MUFFS IT. FALLS ON THE BACK BACK NEAR THE 20 YARD LINE. LOOKED LIKE HE WAS STARTING TO RUN BEFORE THAT BALL GOT THERE. NOW FOR TODAY’S AFLAC TRIVIA QUESTION.>>AFLAC.>>Dave: WISCONSIN ONE OF TWO FBS SCHOOLS WITH ALUMNI AS HEAD COACH, OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR AND DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR. WE ASKED THIS IN OUR PRODUCTION MEETING AND LUGINBILL AND McELROY BEFORE I GOT THE QUESTION OUT ANSWERED CORRECTLY.>>Greg: I HAD A FEELING THIS WAS THE DIRECTION THAT YOU WERE GOING TO GO, I DO KNOW THE ANSWER. I TNK IT’SEALL IMPORTANT TO LOOK AT WISCONSIN AND APPRECIATE THEY HAVE A COORDINATOR, BOTH COORDINATORS AND A HEAD COACH THAT IS SO CLOSELY RESEMBLE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PROGRAM. THEY GREW UP IN THE PROGRAM, THEY KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IT NEEDS TO OPERATE MOVING FORWARD.>>Dave: PLAY FAKE. HORNIBROOK TO THROW ON FAVORITE DOWN AND IT’S PULLED IN, FIRST DOWN GRAB BID FUMAGALLI, THE TIGHT END AT THE 33 YARD LINE. LUGS, YOU WANT TO TAKE A SHOT. >>Tom: NO, LET’S LET AMERICA DO IT. >>Dave: THEY CAN’T ANSWER IT. THEY DON’T HAVE A MICROPHONE.>>Tom: TELL THEM TO SEND IN THEIR TWITR. GIVE ME THE QUESTION ONE MORE TIME. >>Dave: FORGET IT. AIR FORCE.>>Greg: YOU LOSE, TOM.>>Tom: I DIDN’T LOSE.>>Greg: YOU’RE BUYING DINNER. YOU LOST.>>Tom: AND I INTROED AFLAC BETTER THAN DAVE DID.>>Dave: INDIANA OFFSIDE FREE PLAY. DOWN GOES THE QUARTERBACK. THIS WON’T MATTER, SCALES WAS CLEARLY IN THE NEUTRAL ZONE, FLAG DOWN.>>Referee: OFFENSE, DEFENSE, NUMBER 8, FIVE-YARD PENALTY. STILL FIRST DOWN.>>Dave: I LOVED YOUR POINT ABOUT THE ASSISTANT COACHES BODYG WIONSIFOOTLL. COACHING STAFF WITH 13 FORMER WISCONSIN PLAYERS. I MEAN THEY’VE DONE IT THE SAME WAY FOR SO MANY YEARS.>>Greg: RIGHT, THREE DECADES ALMOST. THEY HAD IT UNDER OBVIOUSLY BARRY ALVAREZND BRET BIELEMA AND DID SUCH A GREAT JOB. YOU KNOW WHAT WISCONSIN WILL LOOK LIKE BEFORE YOU EVEN ROLL IT. THEY’RE PHYSICAL. THEY’RE PROUD AND THEY LOVE TO ESTABLISH THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE.>>Dave: TAYLOR ON FIRST AND FIVE AND CAN’T SHAKE A DEFENDER. LATE FLAG COMES IN AS DUTRA WENT FOR A RIDE ON THE LEG OF JONATHAN TAYLOR. FIRST DOWN UNLESS THIS FLAG IS ON WISCONSIN.>>Reree: HOLDING, NUMBER 66, TEN-YARD PENAL REPEAT FIRST DOWN.>>De:av YOUR STARTER AT RIDE GARTH.>>Greg: THIS RIGHT SIDE FOR WISCONSIN HAS NOT BEEN AS GOOD TODAY AS THEY NORMALLY ARE. BRAD SHAW AND DAVID EDWARDS AND GOTTEN OVERLOADED IN PROTECTION AND LOOK SAT THAT. DAVID EDWARDS IS A FUTURE FIRST ROUND PICK.>>Dave: NOW FIRST AND EIGHT AFR T HOLDING CALL. TAYLOR HAS THE FIRST DOWN AT THE 45 YARD LINE. AND DID YOU SEE SPEAKING OF A JET SWEEP DIDOU S HIM TURN ON THE JETS WHEN HE TURNED UPFIELD. >>Greg: YEAH, LEFT LEG INJURY. OUTHATANYMORE.WE NEE TORRY WHEN YOU WATCH HIM FROM DOWN HERE — >>Tom: DAVE, YOU AND I HAD MELVIN GORDON AN AWFUL LOT BUT THIS GUY IS BUILT MORE LIKE JAMES WHITE BUT MOVES LIKE MELVIN GORDON. A PRETTY SCARY NOTION. >>Greg: I LOVE MELVIN GORDON AS A PLAYER. >>Dave: OUT OF KENOSHA, MELVIN GORDON. TAYLOR, BREAKING TACKLES. AND THERE HE GOES PAST THE 30 YARD LINE. TAYLOR POWERS INSIDE THE 10 YARD LINE. THERE’S A PENALTY MARKER BACK AT THE 35, THOUGH. . WISCONSIN IS ACTING AS IF IT’S COMING BACK. >>Tom: THEY KNOW AND THE COACHES FOE IT TOO.>>Referee: HOLDING, OFFENSE, NUMBER 87. TEN-YARD PENALTYROMHE ST OF THEOU PEATIRST DOWN.>>De:av THAST’ ON SEARCHES BLOCKING DOWN FWOOELD.>>Greg: KEEP AEYN E ON HIM ENGAGED WITH THE DEFENDER. THAT’S A REALLY UNFORTUNATE CALL FOR WISCONSIN. YOU CAN SEE THAT RIGHT HAND. THAT GRABS ON FROM THE FIRST ANGLE IT DIDN’T LOOK TOO EGREGIOUS, FROM THE SECOND ANGLE I SEE WHATHEFFICIALS SAW.>>Dave: I DON’T THINK HE NEED TO DO THAT. I DON’T THINK ANDRE BROWN WAS GOING TO BE ABLE TO TURN AROUND AND RUN AND CATCH JONATHAN TAYLOR. DUTRA IS INJURED FOR INDIANA. A LOT OF TALK NOT JUST IN MADISON BUT NATIONALLY ABOUT WISCONSIN BEING NUMBER NINE IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF RANKING. LIGHT SCHEDULE. BYU NOT AS GOOD AS PEOPLE THOUGHT COMING INTO THE YEAR. WHAT DO YOU THINK SO FAR, IS IT ACCURATE TO BE NUMBER NINE DO YOU THINK. >>Greg: TO THIS POINT BECAUSE THE COMMITTEE VALUES WHO YOU’VE BEAT. AND WISCONSIN HASN’T PLAYED ANY OF THE TOP LEVEL TEAMS SO FAIR FOR THEM TO BE WHERE THEY’RE AT. DOESN’T MEAN IT WON’T CHANGE. THEY CONTROL THEIR OWN DESTINY. THERE’S NOT A LOT OF TEAMS IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL THAT CAN SAY THAT AND PLAY AGAINST OHIO STATE OR PENN STATE IN THE BIG TEN CHPIAMONIPSHND MHT B THE BE WSTIN IF WISCONSIN CAN, OF COURSE W,IN THAT BALL GAME AND I INTHK WISCONNSI IS IN A GREAT SPOT BECAUSE PAUCHL RYST CAN PL AY THE CARD, Y,HE NODOBY BELIEVES IN YOU, NODOBY TRUSTS U YOAN TDHAT PUTS A NICE CHIP ON THE SULHODER OF ALL OF S HI PLAYERS. Dave: RANKING BSROUGHT TO YOU BY ALLATSTE. TCU ULWOD HAVE BEEN IN THE TOP FOUR BUT LOST TO IOWA STATE. GOT TEXAS ON ESPN TONIGHT, IOWA, 3:30. OKAY/OKLAHOMA STATE AT 4:00 EASTERN, BEDLAM. WISCONSIN STILL HAS MICHIGAN ON THE SCHEDULE. THAT’S NOT AS BIG BECAUSE THE WOLVERINES HAVE LOST GAMES. THEY HAVE IOWA IN MADISON NEXT WEEK. HORNIBROOK TAKING A SHOT DOWN THE FIELD AND IT IS BOBBLEED. INCOMPLETE, TRIED TO HIT DANNY DAVIS, JONATHAN CRAWFORD IN COVERAGE DID A NICE JOB.>>Greg: CRAWFORD GOT AWAY WITH ONE A LITTLE BIT HERE. SEE HIM PULL THAT SHIRT.>>Dave: OH, YEAH. >>Greg: YEAH. CRAWFORD IN THE BACK END. IF HE DOESN’T TUG ON DAVIS, DAVIS COULD BE GOING TO THE HOUSE. THAT’S A GD JOB TRYING TO STRETCH THE DEFENSE, ESPECIALLY ON FIRST AND TWO. BUT, MAN, INDIANA’S DEFENSE FORTUNATE. THEY GOT AWAY. THAT CLD HE EASILY BEEN A PASS INTERFERENCE.>>Dave: FIRST AND FIVE, FIRST AND EIGHT AND ON THIS DRIVE, SECOND DOWN, IT’S A FIRST DOWN RUN FOR GROSHEK. THEY CALL HIM THEECICIAN BECAUSE HE DOES EVERYTHING RIGHT. WALK-ON FORMER — HE IS A GREAT HIGH SOOLUARTBACK AT AMHERST. PLAYED ON THE SAME HIGH SCHOOL TEAM AS WISCONSIN CENTER TYLER BIOTISH. TURNED HIM INTO — >>Greg: DONE WELL FOR HIM TOO. MIGHT HAVE A PRETTY BIG ROLE GIVEN THE FACT THAT JONATHAN TAYLOR WEREN’T SURE JUST HOW MUCH WOULD BE USED GIVEN THE INJURY TO THAT LEFT LEG.>>Dave: GROSHEK TILL IN ON THE 39 OF INDIANA. GROSHEK AGAIN AND GETS DRILLED AS ANOTHER FLAG COMES IN. SCALES WITH A HIT. LOOKS LIKE IT’S GOING TO BE THE THIRD HOLDING CALL ON THIS DRIVE FOR WISCONSIN.>>Referee: HOLDING, OFFENSE NUMBER 85. TEN-YARD PENALTY, REPEAT FIRST DOWN.>>Tom: SO MUCH WAS MADE OF JONATHAN TAYLOR AND WHETHER OR NOT HE COULD GO TODAY AND THE DIFFERENCE IN THE OFFENSE AND AS WE’RE TALKING ABOUT THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF AND CALIBER OF THE TYPE OF TEAM WISCONSIN IS, I THINK THERE IS A SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE IN THEIR TONE, THEIR ABILITY TO CREATE EXPLOSIVE PLAYS, MOVE THE PILE, WHEN JONATHAN TAYLOR IS IN THE GAME IT IS A DIFFERENT OFFENSE.>>Greg: HE IS THE STAR, NO DOUBT. DIFFERENCE MANY MAKER AS GOOD AS ANY BACK IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL. >>Dave: 100 YARDS ON THE DAY AS THAT PASS IS INCOMPLETE. INTENDED FOR FUMAGALLI. SECOND AND 20. I MEAN, LOOK, SAQUON BARKLEY IS GREAT AND HE GETS A TON OF HYPE FOR GOOD REASON. I’M NOT SURE JONATHAN TAYLOR IS THAT FAR BEHIND. DO YOU AGREE?>>Greg: I TOTALLY AGREE BUT WE’VE BEEN CONDITIONED TO LOOK AT WISCONSIN RUNNING BACKS AND SAY IT’S JUST ANOTHER WISCONSIN RUNNING BACK. A PRODUCT OF THE SYSTEM AND DOING WHAT EVERYBODY BEFORE HIM HAS DONE BUT WHEN YOU ELUE THE QUALITY OF THE RUNS AND THE WAY HE SETS UP BLOCKERS I THINK HE’S ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING AND THE BEST IS YET TO COME.>>Dave: HORNIBROOK ON SECOND AND 20. GETS HIT AND SACKED. BACK AT THE 49. TEGRAY SCALES WHO HAS BEEN ALL OVER THE FLD TAY ALREADY AN INRCTEEPTION GSET HIS FIF STHACK F THE SEASON.>>Greg: INDIANA’S DEFENSE HAS REALLY FOUND SOMETHING WITH PRESSURE ON THE RIGHT-HAND SIDE AND DONE IT A NUMBER OF ERENT T. SEE COVINGTON COMING OFF THE EDGE AND SCALES COMING AROUND WRAPPING AFTER THE RUNNING BACK WENT TO BLOCK THE ADD-ON GREEN DOG AND HE GETS THE SACK. THEY LIKE SOMETHING THEY’VE SEEN TO THIS POINT. IT’S THE HORNIBROOK’S BACKSIDE BEING A LEFTY SO MAKES SENSE THAT’S THE ROUTE THEY’VE GONE. IF I’M WISCONSIN RUN A SIMPLE SCREEN TO THE HALFBACK. SEE IF HE CAN’T GET YARDAGE.>>Dave: RUN THE BALL AND WILL ? NOPE, THEY’LL LET THE CLOCK GROUND. SURPRISED THEY WON’T USE A TIME-OUT. 1:14 TO GO AND WISCONSIN CAN TAKE IT DOWN TO 40. BEFORE THEY KICK.>>Greg: EVERYTHING TO DO WITH FIELD POSITION GIVEN THE FACT THAT WISCONSIN IS NEAR THE 50 YARD LINE, TIMIAN, THE PUNT RETURNER, HIS HEELS ARE AT THE 10. IT’S UNLIKELY THAT INDIANA IS GOING TO GET A FAVORABLE SPOT. THEY’LL TRY TO GO THE ELECTRIC OF THE FIELD WITH THIS DEFENSE IN TWO MINUTE, IT’S NOT EASY. Dav TIMIAN BACK AROUND THE YARD LINE. WISCONSIN TAKING THE PLAY CLOCK DOWN HERE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. NOT A GREAT KICK AND FAIR CAUGHT BY TIMIAN AROUND THE 15 YARD LINE. “CAPITAL ONE HALFTIME REPORT” COMING UP. A WEATHER DELAY BETWEEN PENN STATE AND MICHIGAN STATE AND WE TALKED ABOUT UMASS GIVING MISSISSIPPI STATE TROUBLE AND SOME BIG GAMES IN THE ACC WITH CLEMSON AT N.C. STATE AND VIRGINIA TECH AT MIAMI TONIGHT. LIKE WISCONSIN THE COMMITTEE CLEARLY NOT CONVINCED WITH MIAMI. THE HURRICANES HAVE HAD SOME CLOSE WINS. THE WIN IN TALLAHASSEE DOESN’T LOOK AS BIGECSE FLORI STATSTRUG >>Greg: RIGHT. YOU CAN MAKE AN ARGUMENT THEIR BEST WIN AGAINST TOLEDO AND TOLEDO IS A GOOD FOOTBALL TEAM BUT THEY’RE FROM THE MAC.>>Dave: INDIANA KEEPS IT ON THE GROUND AND MIGHT BE THE FINAL PLAY OF THE FIRST HALF. UNLESS WISCONSIN DECIDES TO CALL A TIME-OUT. INDIANA LED 10-0. WISCONSIN SCORED THE LAST 14 POINTS. SO THAT’LL DO IT FOR THE FIRST HALF HERE IN BLOOMINGTON. THE BADGERS TRYING TO GO TO 9-0 AND WE’LL RETURN TO CATCH YOU UP ON EVERYTHING ON “THE CAPITAL ONE HALFTIME REPORT” AFTER THIS MESSAGE AND A WORD FROM OUR ABC >>Dave: WELCOME BACK TO COLLEGE FOOTBALL PRESENTED BY KAY JEWELERS. YOU’RE WATCHING THE BIG TEN ON ABC. UNDENOTED WISCONSIN. 8-0 FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2004. ONE OF JUST FIVE UNBEATENS LEFT IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL BUT A FOUR-POINT LEAD OVER INDIANA AFTER THEY’RE TRAILING 10-0 EARLY ON. RUSHING YARDS REALLY THE BIG DIFFERENCE IN THE GAME. 117, 99 OF THOSE WERE TRUE FRESHMAN JONATHAN TAYLOR, 14 RUSHING YARDS FOR INDIANA. EACH TEAM WITH A TURNOVER. WISCONSIN DROVE THE LENGTH OF THE FIELD. WAS GOING TO LOOK LIKE SCORE ON AN IMPRESSIVE OPENING DRIVE BUT ALEX HORNIBROOK WAS PICKED OFF IN THE END ZONE AND INDIANA STRUCK FIRST. WISCONSIN GETS THE BALLER IN THE THIRD QUARTER. DERRICK TINDAL IS DEEP FOR THE BADGERS, RANKED NINTH IN THE ORIGINAL PLAYOFF RANKINGS. AND TINDAL THOUGHT ABOUT INGI IT OUT BUT DID NOT. SO A TOUCHBACK AND WISCONSIN WILL START ON THE 25. DAVE PASCH, GREG McELROY AND TOM LUGINBILL. GREG, WHAT DID YOU THINK OF THE BADGERS PERFORMANCE IN THE FIRST HALF?>>Greg: SO FAR MADE A COUPLE OF MISTAKES BUT IN THE PASSING GAME THEY’VE MISSED A THROW OR TWO THAT COULD HAVE BEEN BIG PLAYS AND THE INTERCEPTION IN THE RED ZONE BUT VERY METHODICAL ON THE GROUND AND DID GET STOPPED TOWARDS THE END OF THE FIRST HALF WITH A FEW PENALTIES AND SOME HOLDINGS SO CAN LOOK AT THEMSELVES AND SAY, LOOK, WE HAVE EVERYTHING GOING FOR US IN THE PLAYBOOK AND SHOOTING OURSELVES IN THE FOOT BY MAKING CARELESS MISTAKES AND HAVE TO BE FEELING GOOD ABOUT THE POSITION THEY’RE IN.>>Dave: INDIANA HAS BEEN SO TE WINS YET.AR LONG BUT NBIG TAYLOR OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OVER 100 YARDS NOW. OUR PACIFIC LIFE GAME SUMMARY. THIS IS THE TURNOVER WE WERE TALKING ABOUT, THE SHIFT IN MOMENTUM EARLY ON BUT LOOKED LIKE WISCONSIN IS GOING TO RUN ALL OVER THEM. LAGOW CONVERTING WITH THE TOUCHDOWN PASS TO DEVTE WILLMS HOOSIERS INSIDE THEIR OWN 20 YARD LE PLUS A PENALTY MADE IT FIRST AND TEN ON THE 11. HORNIBROOK WITH A TOUCHDOWN PASS TO CEPHUS. AND THE BADGERS LEAD BY FOUR. FOUR-YARD RUN FOR JONATHAN TAYLOR. GIVE IT TO TAYLORGAINN SECOND AND SICK AND HERE COMES A FLAG. WISCONSIN HAD THREE HOLDING CALLS ON ONE POSSESSION LATE IN THE SECOND QUARTER. ANOTHER BADGER FOUL HERE.>>Referee: HOLDING. OFFENSE, NUMBER 85. TEN-YARD PENALTY. REPEAT SECOND DOWN.>>Tom: WHEN YOU TAKE A LOOK AT THIS WISCONSIN OFFENSE TALKING TO TOM ALLEN, THE HEAD COACH AT INDIANA HE WANTED TO CREATE NEGATIVE PLAYS, GREGS YOU MENTIONED ATTACKING THE RIGHT SIDE OF THAT OFFENSIVE LINE, GET WISCONSIN BEHIND THE CHAINS. NOW, WISCONSIN’S HELPED WITH PENALTIES BUT THE GAME PLAN SO FAR ONENSE FOR INDIANA IS EXACTLY GOING AS PLANNED. NOW, OFFENSIVELY THEY HAVE TO SUSTAIN DRIVES TO GET POINTS ON THE BOARD. >>Dave: THEY GOT A COUPLE OF RECEIVERS, T.J. TAYLOR WIDE OPEN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD. FIRST DOWN TO THE 42. THAT’S GAIF 23 THERE. TAYLOR HAS HAD A COUPLE OF BIG PLAYS DOWN THE FIELD.>>Greg: A GOOD JOB BY ALEX HORNIBROOK STARTING THE SECOND HALF. KNOWING HE’S BEHIND THE STICKS AND YOU ANTICIPATE THAT END BREAKING ROUTE BY TAYLOR. WIDE OPEN ZONE IN FRONT. FOR A BIG PLAY. THOSE ARE THE TYPE OF THROWS THAT HORNIBROOK’S GOING TO HAVE TO CONSISTENTLY MAKE. IF THIS TEAM WANTS TO WIN THE BIG TEN AND THEY HAVE THE PERSONNEL TO DO SO, HORNIBROOK G INTERMEDIATE THROWS.>>Dave: HORNIBROOK TO THROW AGAIN. A SHORT PASS. DUMPING IT OFF TO GROSHEKND HOW ABOUT THE HURDLE BY THE WALK-ON. GETTING SEVEN YARDS. LET’S GO BACK TO HORNIBROOK FOR A MINUTE BECAUSE, YOU KNOW, LAST N WITH BART HOUSTON, HE REALLY WASN’T THE GUY ALL YEAR, BUT HE JUST WON. HE’S WON 14 STRAIGHT STARTS AT QUARTERBACK. THAT’S THE LONGEST ACTIVE STREAK IN THE COUNTRY.>>Greg: A CAPABLE PLAYER. HE’S A LITTLE HOT AND COLD. SOME PERFORMANCES HE’S OFF THE CHARTS. I MEAN DIALED IN. HE WAS 18 OF 19 AGAINST BYU AND LOOKED REALLY GOOD AGAINST MARYLAND THEN THESE OTHER PERFORMANCES LIKE NEBRASKA WHERE HE WAS REALLY SHAKY.>>Dave: TAYLOR GETS THE FIRST DOWN. THE 43 YARD LINE.>>Tom: ALL THEY KEEP FEEDING THAT BIG HORSE, GREG, THAT EASES THE TENSION A LITTLE BIT IN THE PASSING GAME, THE CHALLENGE IS YOU MIGHT HAVE TAYLOR BEHIND YOU BUT IF YOU GET BEHIND THE CHAINS LIKE THEY’VE BEEN TODAY, WHAT HORNIBROOK STRUGGLES WITH IS GETTING THE BALL VERTICALLY DOWNFIELD. YOU’RE NOT GOING TO HAVE A LOT OF EXPLOSIVE PLAYS WHEN YOU THROW IT IN THIS OFFENSE. >>Greg: HAS TO MAKE THEE OR FOUR BIG THROWS DOWN THE FIELD A GAME. YOCOMPTE HF O THOSE, THAT’S A JOB WL DONEND A LOT OF THOSE GIVEN THE RUN GAME AND ATTENTION DEFENSE HAS TO GIVE TO IT CAN BE TOUCHDOWNS.>>Dave: THROUGH A CREASE AND WRAPPED UP AT THE 37. HE’S OVER 1300 YARDS NOW ON THE ASON WITH A HANDFUL OF GAMES TO GO FOR THE TRUE FRESHMAN. TIED THE FBS RECORD FOR A THOUSAND YARDS IN THEEWES GAMES IN HIS FIRSTEVEN HE WAS ALREADY AT A THOUSAND. I KNOW WE’VE SEENO MA GDIAL. BACKS IN MADISON OVER THE YEARS BUT I REALLY BELIEVE IT. BY THEIME ISLL SD AND DONE I WOULDN’T BE SHOCKED IF JONATHAN TAYLOR HAD A HEISMAN ON HIS MANTEL AND BEING REMEMBERED AS ONE OF THE BETTER BACKS THEY’VE EVER HAD. >>Dave: THERE HE IS AGAIN, 37 MORE YARDS. SHOULD HE BE IN THE HEISMAN MIX RIGHT NOW. >>Greg: YES, HE SHOULD. THE PROBLEM IS WE’RE CONDITIONED TO THINK, WELL, WISCONSIN RUNNING BACK, THEY ALL RUN FOR 1200 YARDS IN SEVEN GAMES. THAT’S NOT NECESSARILY TRUE. YOU TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THAT HE’S A TRUE FRESHMAN AND HE’S REALLY STARTING TO GRASP ALL THE LITTLE INTR INTRICACIES, HE SHOULD BE IN THE HEISMAN CONVERSATION. SHOULD HE BE LEADING IT, NO, BUT SHOULD BE IN THE TOP FIVE. >>Dave: IF THEY MAKE IT TO THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF, HE MIGHT WIN IT. THAT’S ASKING A L BUT A GREAT RUN HERE BY TAYLOR FOR A GAIN OF FIVE. FOOTBALL WASN’T HIS ONLY SPORT. WHEAS A TRACK STAR IN HIGH SCHOOL. GOT GREAT VISION.>>Greg: THAT’S THE BIG THING, HIS VISION AND THE WAY HE SETS UP BLOCKERS AND THIS POWER TOO THROUGH TACKLERS AND MAKES IT LOOK VERY EASY AND THIS OFFENSE NOW HAS GOTTEN A LITTLE CREATIVE AND TRY TO FIND NEW WAYS BLOOMINGTON. QUINTEZ CEPHUS GETTING ROLLED UP ON THAT LAST PLAY BY HIS OFFENSIVE LINEMAN BEAU BENZSCHAWEL. HE HAD TO PUT NO WEIGHT ON THAT RIGHT LEG. INTERESTING TO SEE IF HE’S CAPABLE OF RETURNING. RY, RYISAPPOINTING TO SEE THAT. HE HAS BEEN BY FAR THEIR BEST WIDE RECEIVER I THINK THIS SEASON AND AN EXPERIENCED GROUP WITH HIM OUT POTENTIALLY FOR THE GAME. >>Dave: YOU SAW THAT REACTION. IT’S AS IF HE KNEW IT WAS REALLY BAD. DOWNFIELD. TIPPED AND INCOMPLETE AND A FLAG. FUMAGALLI INTERFERED WITH BY ANDRE BROWN.>>Referee: PASS INTERFERENCE, DEFENSE, NUMBER 14. 15-YARD PENALTY. AUTOMATIC FIRST DOWN. >>Greg: EASY CALL FROM THE OFFICIALS THERE. OBVIOUSLY BROWN JUST TRYG TO TACKLE FUMAGALLI INSTEAD OF TURNING AROUND AND TRYING TO PLAY THE BALL IN THE AIR. THE CONTACT ESPECIALLY ON UNDERTHROWS BUT AS A DEFENDER YOU HAVE TO TURN AROUND AND TRY TO MAKE A PLAY ON THE BALL AND THEN YOU MIGHT BE GIVEN THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT BUT A GOOD CALL BY THIS BIG TEN OFFICIATING CREW.>>Dave: NOW FIRST AND GOAL ON THE 10 LOOKING FOR 21 UNANSWERED POINTS HERE. AND TAYLOR IS THE DEEP BACK. STRAIGHT AHEAD. TAYLOR KEEPS THE FEET MOVING. I THINK THAT’S THE OTHER THING ABOUT TAYLOR. YOU SHOWED HIS VISION AND TALD ABOUT HIS SPEED. BEEENHE TACKLES AND PUT HIS N HEAD DOWN. >>Greg: FINISHES RUNS AND PUSHES THE PILE. I MEAN FOR A GUY THAT IS YOUNG AND HASN’T REALLY HAD A HUGE AMOUNT OF TIME IN THE BADGERS STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING PROGRAM. IMAGINE WHAT HE’S GOING TO BE LIKE A YEAR FROM NOW AS HE GETS STRONGER AND MORE PHYSICALLY MATURE. I MEAN HE’S A HANDFUL ALREADY. HE’S GOING TO BE A SUPERSTAR HERE IN THE YEARS TO COME.>>Dave: IF WISCONSIN WINS OUT AND GETS TO THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF, HE’S GOING TO HAVE CLOSE TO 2,000 YARDS AND BE IN THE HEISMAN DISCUSSION. THAT’S A BIG IF AND BADGERS HAVE TO PLAY THE CHAMP OF THE EAST IF THEY MAKE IT TO THE BIG TEN TITLE GAME. TAYLOR ON SECOND AND GOAL STOPPED ABOUT THE 3 YARD NE BIG THIRD DOWN HERE F INDNA TRYING TO HOLD THE BADGERS TO THREE AND KEEP IT A ONE-SCORE GAME.>>Tom: SO DEMORLEYIZING AND, GREG, YOU MENTIONED IT IN THE FIRST HALF. YOU DON’T EVEN HAVE TO TURN ON THE TAPE. YOU KNOW WHAT THEY’LL DO AND KNOW WHAT’S COMING AT YOU AND NO ILL N’T OP IT.UP, YOU THAT CAN BE VERY, VERY HARD ON THE DEFENSE OVER THE COURSE OF FOUR QUARTERS WHICH IS WHAT TOM ALLEN WAS WORRIED ABOUT, THEM WEARING YOU DOWN EVEN IF YOU’RE IN A TIGHT GAME WITH THEM. >>Greg: LIKE YOU SAID, TOM, HARD IN THE FIRST QUARTER. IT’S ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE IN THE FOURTH QUARTER BUT A BIG THIRD DOWN HERE. CURIOUS TO SEE IF WISCONSIN DECIDES TO PUT IT IN THE AIR.>>Dave: SEVEN TIGHT ENDS AND SIFULLCKS THEAME. HORNIBROOK ROLLING OUT HERE ON THIRD AND GOAL, THROWS IT AWAY, CHRIS COVINGTON GOT PRESSURED TO FORCE A FIELD GOAL TRY. DOES ITOT LKIKE THERE’S 18 ON THE FIELD AND ALL WEIGH 300 POUNDS FOR WISCONN? Greg: TSEVEN TIGHT ENDS AND SIX FULLBACKS. NO, SEVEN PLUS SIX IS N HOW YOU GET TO THAT NUMBER. NO, THAT WAS BIG PERSONNEL ALL THE WAY TRYING TO GET A ROLLOUT TO HORNIBROOK’S THROW INSIDE AND WELL COVERED BY INDIANA.>>Dave: EVEN THE KICKER LOOKS LIKE A FULLBACK. RAFAEL GAGLIANONE. 1-YARD TRY. NOT AN EASY ANGLE. AND HE SNEAKS IT INSIDE THE LEFT UPRIGHT. IT’S A 7-POINT BADGER LEAD. TOM ALLEN, T>>Tom: WELCOME BACK TO BLOOMINGTON. QUICK UP DATE IN TERMS OF WIDE RECEIVER FOR WISCONSIN. CEPHUS GOES INTO THE LOCKER ROOM. THEY’RE GOING TO TAKE X-RAYS. LOOKING AT THE RIGHT LEG BELOW THE KNEE. THEY’RE NOT SAYING IT’S A KNEE BUT LOOKING AT THE RIGHT KNEE BELOW THE KNEE. BAD NEWS FOR THE BADGERS. THAT’S AN EXPLOSIVE WEAPON THEY’LL BE MISSING. HE WAS EMOTIONAL AND BEEN TH ROHUG SO MUCH. HIFAS THER WAS SHOT AND KILLED A COUPLE OFEA YRS AGO, ANDRE TAYLOR AND HE HAS HIS DAD’S INITIALS ON HIS HELMET. A PLAYER THAT HAS BEEN SUCH A DIFFERENCEMAKER FOR WISCONSIN. THAT IS A HUGE LOSS FOR T BADGERS. GOA TOHDOWCATCTODA>>Greg: JUST HEARTBREAKING AND JUST HOPE THOSE X-RAYS AND EVERYTHING TURNS OUT TO BE OKAY BUT GIVEN THE DISAPPOINTMENT ON HIS FACE, I’M VERY CONCERNED ABOUT WHAT THAT INJURY MIGHT BE. HATE THAT FOR HIM AND HATE THAT FOR THIS WISCONSIN TEAM THAT REALLY NEEDS HIM, AN EXPLOSIVE WEAPON ON THE PERIMETER.>>Dave: DEVONTE WILLIAMS DEEP FOR INDIANA AND FIELDS IT ON THE 1 YARD LINE. AND HE’LL GET TAKEN DOWN AT THE 17. JOE FERGUSON WAS DOWN THERE FOR WISCONSIN ALONG WITH TYLER MAIS. COMING UP NEXT WITH CLEMSON IN RALEIGH TO FACE N.C. STATE. THE 3:30 EASTERN/12:30 PACIFIC TIME AN PRIMETIME, VIRGINIA TECH AT MIAMI. THE HURRICANES LIKE WISCONSIN UNDEFEATED BUT NOT GETTING THE RESPECT FROM THE COMMITTEE THAT THEY FEEL THEY SHOULD GET. THEY’RE NUMBER TEN. ON ACC AND BIG TEN IMCOMPLICATIONS. INDIANA TAKES OVER SHORT OF ITS 20 YARD LINE. RICHARD LAGOW STARTING TODAY FOR LAW GS HIT AND DOWN HE GOES D BACK AT THE 6 YARD LINE. LEON JACOBS IS THERE PLAYING HIS 54th CAREER GAME TYING A WISCONSIN RECORD. THE BADGERS TRAIL, UTAH STATE, 10-0. THE SECOND TIME THIS YEAR IT’S HAPPENED WHEN THEY’VE OUTSCORED OPPONENTS 76-0 FOLLOWING THAT DEFICIT. >>Greg: UNFORTUNATELY FOR THE BADGERS THE SCORE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME STARTS AT 0-0. IF IS STARTED 10-0 IN FAVOR OF THE OPPOSITION MAYBE THEY’D COME MAN THEY’VE DONE A GREAT JOB OF BOUNCING BACK. >>Dave: RUN WILLIAMS AND HE’LL LOSE YARDAGE. NICK NELSON IN RUN SUPPORT MAKES THE HIT AT THE 5 AND GONE BACKWARDS 12 YARDS ON THIS DRIVE. IT’S THIRD AND 22.>>Greg: AND THE MOST IMPORTANT DRIVE OF THE GAME IS ARGUABLY THE FIRST DRIVE OF THE SECOND HALF. WISCONSIN GOES RIGHT DOWN THE FIELD, OF COURSE, NOW INDIANA BACKED UP INSIDE THEIR OWN 5 AFTER CONSECUTIVE NEGATIVE PLAYS EARLY GOING SAYS THE WISCONSIN BADGERS HAVE MADE SOME GREAT ADJUSTMENTS.>>Dave: LAGOW TO THROW FROM HIS OWN END ZONE. INCOMPLETE. SO THEY HAVE TO PUNT FROM THEIR OWN END ZONE. THINGS COULD GET SIDEWAYS HERE FOR INDIANA. AS WE MENTIONED THEY HAVEN’T SCORED SINCE EARLY ON AND THEY TURNED THE BALL OVER IN THEIR OWN END. GUYS ARE DROPPING PASSES. BREAKDOWNS IN PROTECTION AND NOW THEY HAVE TO PUNT FROM THE BACK OF THE END ZONE. YDONHITEAD’SLREADY HAD ONE BLOCKED THIS YEAR. AND NELSON IS DEEP. AND IT IS A POOR PUNT BUT IT TAKES AN INTERESTING HOP ANGLING AWAY FROM THE RETURN MAN, NELSON, SO THAT WILL WORK OUT OKAY.BY NISSAN. INNOVATION THAT EXCITES AND DEGREE DEODORANT WON’T LET YOU DOWN. INDIANA 3-5. 0-5 IN THE BIG TEN BUT, MAN, AFTER THAT FIRST GAME AGAINST OHIO STATE, YOU THOUGHT THIS MIGHT BE AN 8 OR 9 WIN TEAM AND BLEW OUT VIRGINIA ON THE ROAD THE FOLLOWING WEEK. SINCE THEN THEY JUST CAN’T GET A BREAK LATE. OVERTIME LOSS TO MICHIGAN. THEY LEAD MICHIGAN STATE LATE LOSE THAT GAME. LOSE TO MARYLAND BY THREE. AND HERE THEY’RE DOWN BY SEVEN AFTER LEADING 10-0. AND WISCONSIN HAS THE BALL BACK WHICH MEANS JONATHAN TAYLOR GOING TO GET SOME MOR — TAYLOR KNOCKED DOWN AS THEY BROUGHT RAHEEM LAYNE, A DEFENSIVE BACK DOWN THERE IN RUN SUPPORT. NOTHING ON THAT PLAY FOR TAYLOR.>>Greg: INDIANA HAS HAD SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES OVER THE COURSE OF THE SEASON TO BREAK THAT DOOR DOWN. THEY JUST HAVEN’T BEEN ABLE TO DOT A I THINK MICHIGAN STATE WAS PROBABLY THE BEST EXAMPLE. DOWN THERE, THEY’RE ABOUT TO ICE IT. THEY END UP HAVING TO SETTLE FOR A FIELD GOAL. UP 13-3 IF THEY SCORE A TOUCHDOWN. NEXT THING YOU KNOW MICHIGAN STATE SCORE, GOES TO SCORE AGAIN, CAN’T FIND A WAY TO WIN YET.>>Dave: A CATCH BY TAYLOR. SHORT OF THE LINE TO GAIN. THINK IT’S CLEAR INDIANA IS DIFFERENT NOW UNDER TOM ALLEN AND GIVE KEVIN WILSON CREDIT FOR STARTING THAT BECAUSE WHEN WE TALK ABOUT MIKE DeBORD, THE OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR HE WAS AT MICHIGAN. YOU KNOW, TWICE, IN ’90s AND 2000s COACHING AGAINST INDIANA AND SAID THE PROGRAM IS SO DIFFERENT, THE DEPTH, THE CONSISTENCY IS HERE NOW, THEY JUST GOT TO GET A WIN. >>Greg: TOTALLY DIFFERENT AND ONCE THEY BREAK THROUGH THEY’LL PROBABLY DO SO IN RESOUNDING FASHION BUT CAN’T MAKE MISTAKES THE WAY THEY HAVE TODAY AND CAN’T ALLOW A TEAM LIKE WISCONSIN GET IN THIRD AND MANAGEABLE LIKE THIS, THIRD AND TWO.>>Dave: PLAY ACTION PASS, HORNIBROOK ON THIRD DOWN, WELL COVERED DOWNFIELD. THE PASS IS THERE. IT’S CAUGHT AT TH 32 YARD LINE BY KENDRIC PRYOR. BOY, RASHARD FANT HAD TO COVER HIM FOREVER AND EVENTUALLYRYOR CAME FREE, FOOT DOWN, LET’S SEE IF HE MAINTAINS POSSESSION OF >>reg:OU C SEE THAT LEFT 23509 IS DOWN BUT DOES THAT BALL MAINTAIN? YES. WHAT AN INCREDIBLE PLAY. BY PRYOR. NOTHING WAS OPEN. HE WAS TRYING TO GO DOWNFIELD. HORNIBROOK BUYS TIME, BUYS TIME. WHAT A CONVERSE.>>Dave: HERE’S THE SWEEP TO TAYLOR ON THE CUTBACK TO THE 25. BREAKS TO THE OUTSIDE HEADING FOR PAY DIRT. TOUCHDOWN, JONATHAN TAYLOR. HIS 12th RHINGCORE OF THE YEAR TO LEAD T BIGEN.>>Greg: IT’S EASY TO GIVE LOVE TO TAYLOR WHO IS GOING TO BE IN THE HEISMAN CONVERSATION, BUT IT’S NOT SO EASY TO GIVE LOVE TO YOUR OFFENSIVE LINE. LO AOKT 66, BENZSCHAWEL. WATCH HIM STAY WITH IT. WATCH HIM, BOOM. AND HE PUSHES DUTRA AND PANCAKES HIM WITH ONE ARM. THAT WAS THE CLOCK THAT REALLY ALLOWED TAYLOR TO BREAK IT TO THE CORNER OF THE END ZONE. BENZSCHAWEL. FRONT BY WIONSI ASAYRS 32 YARDS AWAY FROM HIS FOURTH 200-YARD GAME THIS SEASON.>>Greg: MAN, YOU JUST WATCH. WATCH THIS RUN. I MEAN THERE DOESN’T FEEL LIKE THERE’S ANYTHING THERE AND ALL OF A SUDDEN HE’S THROUGH IT, BENZSCHAWEL GETS A BLOCK DOWNFIELD ON DUTRA. AND THEN HE’S OUT THE GATE. I MEAN JUST STICKS WITH YOU AND JUST DOESN’T GO DOWN AT FIRST CONTACT. YOU SEE OBVIOUSLY THE PRODUCTION THAT HE’S HAD. HE’S JUST A STAR IN THE MAKING AND, MAN, HE’S GOING TO BE FUN TO WATCH HERE.>>Dave: I’M TELLING YOU, GREG, IF YOU’RE A HEISMAN VOTE ARE YOU HAVE TO TAKE NOTICE OF THIS GUY.>>Greg: HOW ABOUT ALSO TOO, DON’T GET ME WRONG, TAYLOR IS OUTSTANDING. HE IS A STAR BUT IF I’M A VOTER FOR THE JOE MORA AWARD WHICH A LOT DON’T KNOW WHAT THAT IS, BEST OFFENSIVE LINE IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL, BETTER START LOOKING AT THIS GROUP FROM WISCONSIN. THEY WERE ON THE FINALISTS, THEY’RE GOING TO BE DEFINITELY IN THE CONVERSATION AT SEASON’S END FOR THE BEST UNIT COLLECTIVELY. AND IT’S PLAYS LIKE THAT BY BENZSCHAWEL THAT JUST LEAVE YOU SHAKING YOUR HEAD ALL THE TIME. THEY ARE OUTSTANDING UP FRONT.>>Dave: A MISTAKE ON THE KICKOUT OUT OF BOUNDS. LET’S GO TO THE STUDIO. CHECK IN WITH CASSIDY HUBBARTH.>>Cassidy: THANKS, DAVE. MISSISSIPPI STATE TIED AT 20 WITH UMASS UNTIL FITZGERALD TAKES OFF, TEN YARDS FOR THE TD RUN, FITZGERALD WITH A112 RUSHING YARDS BULLDOGS UP 27-0 ON THE S.E.C. NETWORK. BACK TO YOU.>>Dave: CASSIDY WISCONSIN OUTSCORED OPPONENTS TO WIN 10-0 TO START A GAME 107-0. HAD SEVEN MORE HERE. UP TWO SCORES.>>Greg: IT’S POKE THE BEAR DAY. YOU THINK, TOO, YOUHI WISCONSIN WOULD RUN THE BALL, CONTROL THE CLOCK, CONTROL THE SITUATION. NOT A TEAM THAT’S NECESSARILY BUILT TO COME FROM BEHIND. MY GOODNESS IS THAT — HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT OF SOMETHING SO OPPOSITE. THEY ARE SO GOOD WITH THEIR BACK AGAINST THE WALLER EARLY.>>Dave: HOW WILL INDIANA RESPOND? BACKUP QUARTERBACK RICHARD LAGOW, SHORT PASS, ANOTHER FLAG. TRIED TO HIT TIMIAN. IT’S AN ODD PLAY.>>Greg: COULD BE A CLIP OR SOMETHING. ONT THLINEF SCRIMMAGE.KY GOI >>Greg: FLAG CAME OUT QUICKLY. ALMOST AS QUICK AS LAGOW LET GO OF THE PASS.>>Referee: PERSONAL FOUL. CHOP BLOCK. OFFENSE, NUMBER 6AND NUMR 72. 15-YARD PENALTY, STILL FIRST DOWN.>>Dave: MISTAKES STARTING TO TCCAH TUPO THE HOIEOSRS NOW. Gre YE, COU YEE THE RIGHT-HAND DESI, CHOP BLOCK IS WHEN A GUY IS ENGAGED AND A SECOND GUY BLOCKS BELOW THE WAIST RIGHT THERE. KIND OF BANG-BANG. YOU SEE THE RIGHT GUARD, 72 WENT LOW AND LITTLEJOHN PICKED IT UP. ODD CALL. DON’T KNOW IF I AGREE WITH IT. STEPANIAK.>>Dave: LAGOW STEPS UP AND HITS TIMIAN. A BIG CHUNK OF EARTH BACK THERE. THEY NEEDED THAT.>>Tom: THAT’S WHAT’S PLAGUED THIS OFFENSE. THEY STARTED OFF THEIR SERIES AND NEXT THING YOU KNOW THIRD AND 18. GOT TO GET POSITIVE MOMENTUM TO GET RHYTHM AND THEY’VE HAD NO RHYTHM THROUGHOUT THE SECOND HALF.>>Dave: 19 YARDS THERE. LAGOW STEPPING UP AND RECEIVER COMES FREE FOR YOUR FIRST DOWN TO THE BADGER 38 YARD LINE. BIG TEN FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK, WHOP PHILYOR AND 13 CATCH, A TOUCHDOWN A WEEK AGO, GOT 24 IN THIS PLAY. >>Greg: SO MUCH OF INDIANA’S OFFENSE HAS BEEN UNDERNEATH QUICK THROWS. NOW TRYING TO GET IN THA 10 RANGE.>>Dave: LAGOW TO THE OUTSIDE, INCOMPLETE. TRIETO HIT DEVON WIL.>>Greg: BACK TO THE QUICK THROWS. I DON’T UNDERSTAND THAT. WHEN YOU HAVE HAD FOUND SUCCESS ON CONSECUTIVE DOWNS IN THAT INTERMEDIATE RANGE, 10 TO 20, I DON’T KNOW WHY YOU’D GO BACK TO THE QUICK GAME WHEN THAT’S BEEN TIME ECONOMIED FOR A MAJORITY OF THE LAST TWO QUARTERS.>>Dave: ANOTHER PASS PLAY HERE FROM LAGOW. HAS TO LEAVE THE POCKET AND TAKE OFF. HE’S GOT RUNNING ROOM AND HE PICKS UP THE FIRST DOWN.>>Tom: OH, GUYS DID HE HAVE A WIDE-OPEN SIMMIE COBBS RUNNING DOWN THE SIDELINE. TAKE A LOOK AT THAT, GREG.>>Greg: OH, MY GOODNESS. BREAK THE POCKET AND LAGOW IS A RUNNER WITHOUT KEEPING HIS EYES DOWNFIELD. THAT’S A TOUCHDOWN WALK-IN DO THE MOONWALK INTO THE END ZONE IF HE THROWS IT. MISSED OPPORTUNITY FOR THE HOOSIERS.>>Dave: BUT THEY DO GET THE FIRST DOWN WITH LAGOW RUNNING, NOW LAGOW ON THEOV AGAIN. THEY TRY TO STRIP IT BUT LAGOW TO THE 18 PICKING UP FIVE OR SIX. AND THEY’RE IN THE RED ZONE.>>Greg: THIS HAS BEEN A GOOD DRIVE FOR INDIANA SO FAR AND A GOOD JOB BY MIKE DeBORD TRYING TO GET INTO THOSE END INTERMEDIATE ZONES RESPONDING TO ADVERSITY THEMSELVES.>>Dave: LAGOW OFF PLAY ACTION GOING TO THE END ZONE. ALAG DOWN BUT SHOULD BE ON ERE NELSON. AT WAS A DART BY LAGOW.>>Reree DEFENSE, NUMBER 11. PENALTY IS DECLINED. TOUCHDOWN.>>Greg: WHAT A GREAT JOB BY SIMMIE COBBS AND A TERRIFIC THROW BY RICHARD LAGOW. THE FADE OVER THE SHOULDER, WELL COVERED. REALLY WELL COVERED. BY NICK NELSON. BUT A PERFECT THROW AND A GREAT CATCH BEATS GREAT COVERAGE EVERY SINGLE TIME.>>Dave: THAT DRIVE RIGHT THERE. WE TALKED EARLIER ABOUT HOW INDIANA IS DIFFERENT. THAT DRIVE RIGHT THERE TELLS YOU ALL YOU FEED TO KNOW ABOUT HOW THE HOOSIERS EVEN IF THEY ARE UNABLE TO WIN THIS GAME AND 0-6 IN THE BIG TEN JUST ABOUT WHERE THIS PROGRAM IS HEADED UNDER TOM ALLEN. LET’S GO BIG PICTURE AND TALK BIG TEN. OHIO STATE WITH AN INCREDIBLE WIN LAST WEEK AND J.T. BARRETT PUTTING ON A SHOW IN THE FOURTH QUARTER. NOW, PENN STATE HAD PLAYED SO WELL PRIOR TO THAT. YOU GOT WISCONSIN HERE UNBEATEN. WHO RIGHT NOW IS THE BEST TEAM IN THE BIG TEN AND DO YOU THINK IT’S GOING TO BE A DIFFICULT PATH TO THE BIG TEN TO GET A PLAYOFF SPOT BECAUSE RIGHT NOW THE FIRST TOP FOUR, THERE’S ONLY TWO CONFERENCES REPRESENTED. S.E.C. AND ACC.>>I DON’T KNOW HOW YOU CAN LEAVE OUT THE BIG TEN. I KNOW THAT JUST DEPENDS ON HOW THINGS UNFOLD AND WHERE IS OKLAHOMA. DOES OHIO STATE WIN THE BIG TEN AND HAVE THE HEAD-TO-HEAD WHERE THE COMMITTEE LOOKS AT THE SOONERS AGAINST THE BUCKEYES BUT I THINK THAT THE BIG TEN RIGHT NOW TOP TO BOTTOM AS A LEAGUE IS OUTSTANDING AND THE COMMITTEE RECOGNIZES THAT AND OHIO STATE, THEY MIGHT BE THE BEST TEAM RIGHT NOW. I WOULD SAY PENN STATE IS RIGHT THERE, VERY CLOSE OBVIOUSLY. JUST WATCHED LAST WEEK IF YOU DON’T BELIEVE ME BUT WISCONSIN’S CLOSER THAN PEOPLE REALIZE BECAUSE OF THE WAY THEY PLAY IN TRENCHES. THEY’RE SO GOOD BOTH ON OFFENSE AND ON DEFENSE THEY KNOW WHO THEY ARE AND THEY PLAY TO THEIR STRENGTHS SO DON’T JUST ASSUME THAT THE BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP IS GOING TO BE DECIDED WITH RELATIVE EASE AND GO TO THE WINNER OF THE BIG TEN EAST.>>Dave: TINDAL TAKING IT OUT BREAKS A TACKLE PAST THE 30 YARD LINE AND PUSHED OUT NEAR THE 40 BY GRIFFIN OAKES, THE KICKOFF MAN. NOW, YOU TALKED ABOUT OHIO STATE AND MENTIONED WHAT J.T. BARRETT DID LAST WEEK. IT WON’T BE EASY TODAY 3:30 EASTERN ON ESPN. BUCKEYES/HAWKEYES COMING UP IN ABOUT AN HOUR. THERE’S GOING TO BE SO MUCH MOVEMENT. THERE ARE GOING TO BE UPSETS. BUT IF NOTRE DAME MAKES IT IN THE TOP FOUR THERE IS A CHANCE AT LEAST TWO CONFERENCES, MAYBE MORE GET LEFT OUT.>>Greg: DO YOU TAKE TWO FROM A LOT OF DRAMA WE’LL HAVE IN THE NEXT FEEKS.>>Dave: SOME MOVEMENT UP FRONT. INDIANA MAY HAVE BEEN IN THE NEUTRAL ZONE. IT’S KIND OF DEFLATING AFTER YOU SCORE A TOUCHDOWN AND PULL WITHIN SEVEN TO ALMOST LET THE KICKOFF GUY OUT THE GATE AND THEN MAYBE GO OFFSIDE.>>Referee: PRIOR TO THE BALL BEING SNAPPED OFFSIDE, DEFENSE NUMBER 54 WITH CONTACT. FIVE-YARD PENALTY. STILL FIRST DOWN.>>Dave: SO HERE ARE THE EAST LEADERS. PENN STATE/MICHIGAN STATE PLAYING AND THERE’S A WEATHER DELAY. OHIO STATE STILL HAS MICHIGAN STATE AT HOME AND HAS TO GO TO MICHIGAN, YEAH, THE WOLVERINES MAY BE DOWN BUT IT DOESN’T MATTER WHEN THEY PLAY EACH OTHER. ANOTHER FIRST AND FIVE HERE. WELL PLAYED BY SCALES TAKING DOWN RUNNING BACK JONATHAN TAYLOR. MAYBE A YARD. THERE’S THE WEST STANDINGS, NEASKAND NORTHWESTERN BEAT CLEAY INH PLAY IOWA IN MADISON NEXT WEEK.>>Greg: BADGER FAN BOOK A TICKET TO THE BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP. YOU’RE GOING BARRING SOMETHING COMPLETELY UNFORESEEN.>>Dave: THREE TIMES IN THE LAST FOUR YEARS IF THAT HAPPENS.>>Greg: AMAZING THE CONSISTENCY THIS PROGRAM HAS.>>Dave: SECOND A FOUR, TAYLOR NNINRIGHT AND GETS A FST >>om: U TALK ABOUT NOTRE DAME AND THEIR SCHEDULE AND THEN THE BIG TEN AND BIG TEN WEST. I THINK IF Y’RE LOOKING AT THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF AND ALL FIVE OF THE POWER FIVE CONFERENCES, IF YOU’RE THE PAC-12 AND BIG 12 YOU HAVE REAL CONCERNS ABOUT NOTRE DAME AND GEORGIA. I’M NOT AS CONCERNED ABOUT THE BIG TEN. I THINK IT’S GOING TO PLAY ITSELF OUT AND PROBABLY HAVE A FAVORABLE OUTCOME WHEN IT’S ALL SAID AND DONE.>>Dave: HE WENT OVER OHIO STATE. WHAT IF OKLAHOMA WINS TONIGHT ANSWER OKLAHOMA STATE.>>Greg: STILL HAVE TO PLAY TCU AND BEAT THE SECOND PLACE TEAM AGAIN.>>Dave: HORNIBROOK STEPS UP, GETS HIT, COUGHS THE BALL UP. INDIANA FALLS ON IT. THEY’RE SAYING WISCONSIN GOT IT BACK. HORNIBROOK MAY HAVE FALLEN ON IT. IT WAS ROBERT McAY TT FCED OUT. RNHOIBROOK DID GET IT BACK. OH, YOU COULD SEE AND McCRAY NUMBER 47. HE’SAD H A HEC OKF A GEAM FORCING THE FUMEBL AND, MAN, YOU SEE ENWH YOU’R AE QUARTERBACK AND YOU’RE IN THE POCKET, YOU UNG ARTERBKS AT HOME ALWAYS KEEP TWO HANDS ON THE BALL. HORNIBROOK RIGHT THERE, JUST ONE HAND ON THE BALL. THE RESULT, A SACK FUMBLE.>>Dave: LOSS OF ONE, SECON DOW. HERE COMES A JET SWEEP TO A.J. TAYLOR. TAYLOR DRAGGED DOWN JUST SHORT OF THE LINE TO GAIN AT THE 41 BY CHASE DUTRA. SO BIG THIRD DOWN HERE FOR INDIANA’S DEFENSE AND A SHAKEN UP HOOSIER. THAT’S A BIG LOSS. ALL OVER THE PLACE TODAY. MAYBE THE BEST HOOSIER THAT WE’VE SEEN DEFENSIVELY LIVED IN THE BACKFIELD AND MADE BIG PLAYS AGAINST THE RUN.>>Dave: LET’S FINISH OUR DISCUSSION IN THE BIG 12 WHILE WE HAVE A SECOND BEFORE THIS THIRD DOWN. DO YOU AGREE WITH WHAT TOM SAID. THE BIG 12 IS GOING TO HAVE MORE DIFFICULTY THAN THE BIG TEN MAYBE.>>Greg: I THINK THEY’LL HAVE TWO LOSSES AND THINK OKLAHOMA IS GOING TO LOSE TONIGHT IN STILLWATER AND OKLAHOMA STATE THEY’VE CLEARLY PROVEN THAT THEY’RE A LITTLE IMPERFECT TOO.>>Dave: THEY HAVE TO TO AMES.>>Greg: LOST TO TCU AND MAYBE THEY PLAY THEM AGAIN OR OKLAHOMA AGAIN. THERE’S A LITTLE ENGINE THAT COO. IOWA STATE. DON’T COUNT THEM OUT. THEIR SIZE AND ABILITY TO PLAY TO THEIR STRENGTHS, THEY’RE A TEAM THAT’S TOUGH AND PHYSICAL EVEN THOUGH I THINK THEY’LL PROBABLY LOSE TONIGHT TO WEST VIRGINIA. BUT A GOOD TEAM NONETHELESS. WE HAD A CHANCE TO SEE THEM LAST WEEK SO I JUST THINK THE BIG 12 ABALANCED AND SO OFFENSIVE DRIVEN THAT IT’S HARD TO BRING YOUR A GAME EVERY SINGLE WEEK OFFENSIVELY. THERE WILL BE A TIME OR TWO WHEN YOUR OFFENSE LAYS AN EGG AND MORE OFTEN THAN NOT IF YOU’RE A TEAM IN THE BIG 1245 RELIES SO HEAVILY ON EXPLOSIVE OFFENSE, YOU’RE GOING TO LOSE THAT GAME WHERE YOUR OFFENSE DOESN’T SHOW UP.>>Dave: THIRD AND ONE, NEVILLE IS IN THE BACKFIELD. A BLOCK FOR GROSHEK. GROSHEK, GETS THE FIRST DOWN, KNIFING THROUGH THAT FRONTOUR OFNDIA TO E 39ARD NE. FORMER HIGH SCHOOL QUARTERBACK WALK-ON RUNNING BACK. WHEN TAYLOR WENT OUT LAST WEEK AGAINST ILLINOIS HE GOT THE BULK OF THE WORK, 12 CARRIES OR 150 YARDS AND A TOUCHDOWN.>>Tom: TAYLOR BACK IN NOW, GUYS.>>Greg: YOU THINK ABOUT GROSHEK AND FUMAGALLI AND JACK CICHY AND JOE FERGUSON. HOW MANY GOOD WALK-ONS DOES WISCONSIN HAVE IN THEIR PROGRAM EVERY SINGLE YEAR THAT PLAY PIVOTAL ROLES OFFENSIVELY AND DEFENSIVELY.>>Dave: CARRY NUMBER 24 FOR JONATHAN TAYLOR. MAYBE TWO BEFORE HE’S PUSHED BACK BY JONATHAN CRAWFORD. JIM LEONHARD.>>Greg: SO MANY GUYS AND LOOK THROUGH THE LIST, SO MANY GUYS THAT BEGAN THEIR CAREERS AS A WALK-ON. J.J. WATT AND SURE ENOUGH THEY EARN A SCHOLARSHIP. THEY GET INTO THE ROTATION. AND THEY END UP HAVING INCREDIBLE CAREERS, THAT’S A REAL NICE BENEFIT TO HAVE AND IT’S A REAL TESTAMENT TO THE AMOUNT OF PRIDE THAT WISCONSIN TAKES IN THEIR WALK-ON PROGRAM.>>Tom: AND PLAYER DEVELOPMENT TOO. NOT EVERYBODY IS GOING TO DEVELOP AT THE SAME RATE COMING OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL. MIGHT BE A LATE BLOOMER. WALK-ON YOU BECOME ACHOLARSHIP>>ave:ROSH HIT ON DELIVERY AS SOON AS THE BALL WAS HANDED TO HIM. TEGRAY SCALES MAKES ANOTHER BIG PL. LOSS OF THREE. IT WILL BE THIRD DOWN AND LONG FOR WISCONSIN WHEN WE START THE FOURTH QUARTER. BACK AFTER THIS. . >>Dave: WHEN YOU LIVE IN WISCONSIN YOU ENJOY A LOT OF FOOTBALL AND SOME CHEESE AND BAMGS AND PACKERS, GREEN BAY/DETROIT, “COUNTDOWN” KICKS OFF ON ESPN, GAME AVAILABLE ON ESPN2 IN SPANISH. BIG THIRD DOWN HERE. RIGHT NOW OUT OF FIELD GOAL RANGE. MAYBE THEY’LL RUN IT THOUGH BECAUSE GAGLIANONE MADE A 52-YARDER LAST WEEK. CAN THEY GET TO THE 35 OR SO.>>Greg: YOU SEE THE LINE TO GAIN AT THE 35. 52-YARDER.>>Dave: BRINGING PRESSURE HERE. HORNIBROOK THROWS. COINMPTELE. BROKEN U BEAIFUL. RASHARD FANT, SECOND TEAM ALL BIG TEN. KNOCKED IT AWAY FROM TAYLOR.>>Greg: THIS IS JUST A GREAT PLAY BY FANT. GOOD COVERAGE, TIGHT COVERAGE BY FANT. NOT A BAD THRO AND NOT A BAD SPOT TO GO WITH IT EITHER. JUST WELL COVERED BY FANT THERE AND THE SECOND LEVEL.>>Dave: YOU AND I WERE TALKING DURING THE BREAK, WHY NOT.>>Greg: I WOULD RUN IT RIGHT THERE FOR SURE. TRY TO PICK UP SIX YARDS AND GIVE YOURSELF A CHANCE AT THREE.>>Dave: HERE’S ALLEN PUNTING AND IT LANDS BOUNDS. SEE WRE I CROSSED THE SIDELINE. MARK IT AT THE 10. NOT>>Dave: OUR ALLSTATE ALL HANDS IN PLAY, RICHARD LAGOW, A STRIKE TO SIMMIE COBBS ON THE LAST INDIANA POSSESSION TO PULL THE HOIERSITHISEVE>>Greg: SUCH A GREAT CATCH. LATE HANDS WITH THE DEFENDER DRAPED OVER YOU. MAN, HE MADE IT LOOK EASY TOO, DIDN’T HE?>>Dave: THE LEADING RECEIVER IN THE BIG TEN, SIMMIE COBBS, TEN TOUCHDOWN CATCHES IN THE SEASON, INDIANA TAKES DOWN FROM ITS 10 YARD LINE LINE. BACKUP QUARTERBACK DUMPS IT OFF TO PHILYOR AND OUT NEAR THE 18. LAGOW REPLACING THE INJURED PEYTON RAMSEY WHO HURT HIS KNEE LAST WEEK. LAGOW STARTED THE FIRST FOUR GAMES THIS YEAR. ALL 13 GAMES A YEAR AGO, LED INDIANA TO A BOWL GAME. AND PLAYED A SOLID GAME SO FAR. NO INTERCEPTIONS, OVER 200 PASSING YARDS AND TWO TOUCHDOWNS. GOT SECOND AND FOUR HERE. LAGOW TO THE SIDELINE FOR COBBS AND I THINK THE OFFICIAL MISSED THAT. NICK NELSON LOODKE LIKE HE HAD A HOLD OF THE JERSEY BACKSIDE AWAY . LET’S SEE.>>Greg: TOM ALLEN IS GOING NUTS. RAN 40 YARDS DOWN THE SIDELINE TO GET IN THE OFFICIAL’S EAR. I DON’T DISAGREE WITH HIM. A LOT OF CONTACT. THEY’VE GOTTEN NELSON A FEW TIM RIGHT THERE. I THINK THEY COULD HAVE GOTTEN THEM AGAIN.>>Dave: THIRD AND FOUR. WE GOT TO HURRY HERE. GETTING A CHECK FROM THE SIDELINE BUT THE PLAY CLOCK DOWN TO 4. THEY SNAP IT IN TIME. LAGOW FLUSHED OUT OF THE POCKET AND DOES WELL TO COMPLETE IT FOR THE FIR DOWN TO PHILYOR. WHAT A GREAT PLAY BY LAGOW. Greg: GREAT JOB BY LAGOW,>>EXNDING, FINDING PHILYOR. RIGHT THERE, JUST ENOUGH YARDAGE TO PICK UP THE FIRST DOWN WELL EXECUTED WITH THE SCRAMBLE DRILL.>>Dave: LAGOW LOOKING DOWNFIELD. GETS HIT. FLAG DOWN, LAGOW ALMOST THROWS AN INTERCEPTION. LOOKED LIKE THERE WAS HOLDING.>>Greg: I THINK THIS MIGHT BE A HOLD.>>Dave: JACOBS WAS DRAGGED DOWN SO WAS VAN GINKEL.>>ef Reree: TEN-YARD PENALTY, STILL FIRST DOWN.>>Gg: AHYE, H GRABBING ON HOLDING ON FOR DEAR LIGHT. AND THEY’LL CALL THAT EVERY TIME. CRONK OY CRONK. TOUGH SPOT TO BE IN BEHIND THE STICK, SECOND CONSECUTIVE DRIVE FOR INDIANA, FIRST BIG PENAL TO MAK LIF DIFFICULT. YAS NO FOR INDIANA.TIES AND 75 FIRST AND 20. SHORT THROW BY LAGOW THRGH THE HANDS OF THE INTENDED RECEIVER, PHILYOR. SECOND AND 20.>>Greg: CLEARLY THEY LIKE THE MATCH-UP RIGHT NOW THAT THEY HAVE WITH WHOP PHILYOR. HIM UNDERNEATH. HE’S GOT BURST. HE, OF COURSE, A YOUNG PLAYER BUT AN EXPLOSIVE PLAYER. CLEARLY MAKING HIM A POINT OF EMPHASIS HERE AS THE GAME PROGRESSES.>>Dave: ANOTHER PASS PLAY ON SECOND AND 20 AND LAGOW TAKES A SHOT AND THROWS A PICK INTERCEPTED BY JOE FERGUSON. THAT’S TWO TAKEAWAYS FOR FEUSON, THE FORMER WALK-ON, GRANDSON OF BARRY ALVAREZ.>>Greg: TRYING TO HIT PHILYOR N A POSTOU RTE AND, OF COURSE, THE HIT THAT LAGOW RECEIVED BECAUSE OF THE TWIST UP FRONT HE’S GOING TO FEEL THAT ONE TOMORROW FOR SURE AND HOW ABOUT FERGUSON. DROPPING BACK, RECOGNIZING THAT IN BREAKING ROUTE, JUMPING IN FRONT AND THE GRANDSON OF BRY ALVAZ COMES UP BIG IN THE SECONDARY WITH A HUGE INTERCEPTION.>>Dave: SO TYLER JOHNSON WHO FORCED THE FUMBLE THAT FERGUSON RECOVERED IN THE FIRST HALF FORCES THE INTERCEPTION. THERE YOU CAN SAY BECAUSE OF THE PRESSURE IN THE FACE OF LAGOW. NOW WISCONSIN, I DON’T KNOW IF THEY WOULD PUT IT AWAY HERE BUT TO GO UP TWO SCORES WITH ABOUT TEN OR 11 MINUTES TO GO MIGHT BE TOO MUCH TO OVERCOME AGAINST WISCONSIN’S DEFENSE WHICH IS NUMBER FIVE IN THE COUNTRY. POINTS ALLOWED. TAYLOR WITH HIS 26th CARRY ON NOAT A BUCK 80 AFTER THREE YARDS THERE.>>Greg: TAYLOR DID NOT HAVE HIS BEST STUFF LAST WEEK NATURALLY BECAUSE OF THE INJURY. BUT, MAN, HAS HE FOUND A WAY ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS THIS YEAR TO BOUNCE BACK IN THE FOLLOWING PERFORMANCE. YOU LOOK. UTAH STATE NOT GREAT. HOW ABOUT THE SECOND GAME. 223. NORTHWESTERN STRUGGLED. SURE, THEY’LL JUST PLAY NEBRASKA. GO FOR 250 THEN LAST WEEK AGAINST ILLINOIS BANGED UP NOT SURE IF HE WAS GOING TO BE ABLE TO GO TODAY. NOT ONLY HAS HE GONE BUT BEEN VERY EFFECTIVE FOR THE BADGERS.>>Dave: HERE COMES THE JET SWEEP OR A FAKE AND HANDOFF TO GROSHEK, THE FIRST MAN THROUGH, INDIANA READ THAT WELL, THOUGH. SCALES AGAIN MAKING A PLAY AND PENALTY MARKER IS THROWN NEAR WHERE THE TACKLE WASDE>>Tom: THEY’LL GET CRAWFORD FOR GRABBING THE FACE MASK, EXCUSE ME, COVINGTON.>>Referee: FACE MASK, DEFENSE, . 15-YARD PENALTY TO THE END OF THE RUN. AUTOMATIC FIRST DOWN.>>Dave: TOM ALLEN IS NOT HAPPY. BUT THAT’S ANOTHER PENALTY ON INDIANA THAT IS JUST A KILLER.>>Greg: YEAH. LOOK AT COVINGTON. RIGHT THERE. I MEAN IT’S PLAIN AS DAY. YOU CAN SEE HIS HAND ON THAT FACE MASK AND THE OFFICIALS WILL CALL THAT EVERY TIME.>>Dave: EVERY TIME THEY’LL CALL IT. ALN’S FRUSTRATION.UNDERSTAND TO HIS TEAM TIME AND TIME AGAIN HAS MADE MISTAKES THAT HAVE REALLY MADE LIFE DIFFICULT FOR THEM. THEY GOT TO STAY COMPOSED AND HAVE SOME POISE.>>Dave: ON FIRST AND TEN, TAYLOR AGAIN INSIDE THE 10. HE COUGHS IT UP BALL STILLOOSE AND RECOVERED BY WISCONSIN. WITH THE PUMPKIN LAYING ON THE GROUND OF THE 12. JUST DOVE ON IT AND MISSED OPPORTUNITY FOR INDIANA.>>Greg: MAN THAT, COULD HAVE BEEN HUGE. A GREAT JOB STRIPPING THE FOOTBALL BY STALLINGS. YOU CAN SEE AS THAT BALL BOUNCES TO THE RIGHT, JUST NOTNOH PORTITY R INDIANA TO RECOVER IT AND MICHAEL DEITER, THE SECOND TIME IN AS MA WEE HAS THE BALL IN HIS HANDS IN THE RED ZONE, OF COURSE, SCORED THE TOUCHDOWN LAST WEEK. >>Dave: UNDERNEATH TO FUMAGALLI. AND HE’S TACKLED AROUND THE 5 YARD LINE, ANOTHER CRITICAL THIRD DOWN, INDIANA WAS AE TO GET OFF THE FIELD EARLIER, FORCE A FIELD GOAL TRY FOR WISCONSIN. CAN THE HOOSIERS DO IT AGAIN? STAY IN THIS GAME.>>Greg: THAT RIGHT THERE WAS A GOOD PLAY. I KNOW THAT SECOND DOWN IS A GAME FOUR, FIVE, DOESN’T FEEL LIKE A BIG PLAY, BUT THIRD AND NINE AS OPPOSED TO THIRD AND THREE, THAT’S A HUGE DIFFERENCE. NOW YOU CAN RUN IT HERE AND POTENTIALLY THINK ABOUT RUNNING IT AGAIN ON FOURTH IF YOU FEEL LIKE A TOUCHDOWN IS WARRANTED.>>Dave: BRADRICK SHAW, THIRD AND FOUR FOR THE BADGERS. THEY’RE GOING TO RUN SHAW AND SHAW JUST PUTS HIS HEAD DOWN, DELIVERS A BLOW TO THE DEFENDER. CHRIS COVINGTON AND IS CLOSE TO THE FIRST DOWN.>>Greg: GIVES YOU OPTIONS. WHEN YOU’RE IN THIRD AND MANAGEABLE YOU CAN RUN IT. NOW YOU CAN MAKE A DECISION. AS TO WHETHER OR NOT YOU GO FOR IT.>>Dave: HE’S SHORT BASED ON INITIAL INDICATION.>>Greg: IT’S VERY CLOSE.>>Tom: HERE COME THE TIGHT ENDS, BOYS.>>Dave: YOU GUYS AGREE. SHORT GO FOR IT. >>Tom: ABSOLUTELY. >>Greg: I DEFINITELY WOULD GO FOR IT. THE WAY THE LINE HAS PLAYED FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE GAME I’D GO FOR IT. I THINK HE’S A LITTLE BIT SHORT.>>Dave: TAYLOR, 27 CARRIES, ONLY BEEN THREE OF THEM WHERE HE’S BEEN TACKLED EITHER AT THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE OR FOR A LOSS. I MEAN GETTING POSITIVE YARDAGE. SO IT IS FOURTH DOWN.>>reg: THAT’S A GOOD EFFORT. COVINGTON WAS THERE IN A GOOD SPOT.>>Dave: BOY. ANGLE IS NOT EXACT, GREG. BUT DIDN’T IT LOOK LIKE THE BALL WAS FURTHER. IT WAS SPOTTED AT THE 3.>>Greg: SO DIFFICULT TO TELL WHERE THE BALL IS WITH THAT ANGLE. OF COURSE, YOU HAVE TO HAVE INDISPUTABLE VIDEO EVIDENCE IF THEY DID TAKE A LOOK AT IT. I AGREE WITH THE CALL GOING FOR IT. BIG BACK IN THE GAME. DON’T BE SURPRISED IF THEY HAND IT TO INGOLD ON A FULLBACK DIVE.>>Dave: FOURTH AND ONE, INGOLD, STRAIGHT AHEAD AND ABLE TO POWER PAST THE LINE AND ALMOST INTO THE END ZONE. FIRST AND GOAL FROM THE 1 FOR WISCONSIN. GUYS GOT A TOUCHDOWN PASS TODAY. TOUCHDOWN CATCH RATHER AND THEY HAND IT TO HIM THERE ON FOURTH DOWN TO MOVE THE STICKS. GET RID OF THE STICKS SO FIRST AND GOAL.>>Greg: I THINK THAT WAS A GOOD CALL, OBVIOUSLY. GOING FOR IT THERE. SEVEN INCHES TO GAIN. TO GET A FRESH SET OF DOWN, GIVE IT TO YOUR 250-POUND FULLBACK WITH A TULL HEAD OF STEAM DOWNHILL. IT’S AN EASY CONVERSION FOR THE BADGERS.>>Dave: THEY HAVE NOT PUT TAYLOR BACK IN SINCE THE FUMBLE AND GIVE IT TO INGOLD AND HE IS IN FOR A SECOND TOUCHDOWN TODAY. ‘S G NINE CAREER RUSHING TOUCHDOWNS COMING IN SO MAKE IT 10 THERE AND NOW THREE RECEIVING TOUCHDOWNS ON HIS CAREER. WHENEVER HE TOUCHES IT HE SCORES.>>Greg: HE’S A BACKUP AND, OF COURSE, HE USES THEM AN AWFUL LOT, DOES JOE RUDOLPH, THE OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR. AUSTIN RAMESH IS THE STARTER AND LISTED AS THE STARTER AND THOUGHT HE WOULD BE MISSED TODAY. YOU REALLY DID. EXCEPTIONAL PLAYER AT FULLBACK. VERY ATHLETIC BUT INGOLD HAS FILLED IN ADMIRABLY WITH A COUPLE OF TOUCHDOWNS.>>Dave: GAGLIANONE MAKES EIGHT A 14-POINT LEAD ONCE AGAIN FOR WISCONSIN HERE IN THE FOURTH QUARTER. NUMBER NINE LOOKS TO STAY UNBEATEN. ALL MADE POSSIBLE BY THE DEFENSE. JOE FERGUSON COMING UP HUGE. EXPERIENCE THE POWER OF PACIFIC. AND THE 2018 KIA RIO. SMALL THINGS CAN DO BIG THINGS.>>Dave: ONE OF THE BIG REASONS WISCONSIN IS UNBEATEN AT 8-0. THEY HAVE OWNED THE FOURTH QUARTER. HAVEN’T TRAILED IN THE FOURTH THIS QUEIRO. OUTSCORED OPPONENTS 80-21 IN THE FINAL FRAME. THEY HAD THREE COME FROM BEHIND FOURTH QUARTER WINS A YEAR AGO. I THOUGHT THE COMMITTEE SHOULD HAVE HAD THEM EIGHT. I THOUGHT THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN AHEAD OF TCU THIS WEEK. TCHAS TO PLAY TEXAS TONIGHT. TOUCHBACK. INDIANA WILL START AT THE 25. TWO BIG TURNOVERS BY THE HOOSIERS. THIS ONE RULED THAT ELLISON WAS WN. THEY CHANGE THE CALL. SAID IT WAS A FUMBLE. RECOVERED BY THE BADGERS AND THEN TOUCHDOWN PASS TO CEPHUS WHO WOULD LATER LEAVE THE GAME BECAUSE OF INJURY AND THEN MOMENTS AGO THE INTERCEPTION BY FERGUSON ON LAGOW BECAU OF THE BIG HIT BY TYLER JOHNSON PAID OFF BY THE INGOLD TOUCHDOWN RUN.>>Greg: 14 POINTS OFF TURNOVERS AND INDIANA, THEY’RE GOING TO BE LOOKING BACK AT THIS GAME AND SAYING, MAN, WE HAD A FEW OPPORTUNITY, WE JUST COULDN’T CAPITALIZE WHETHER WITH TURNOVERS OR PENALTY, INDIANA HAD A COUPLE OF CHANCES, YOU GOT TO GIVE WISCONSIN CREDIT. THEY’VE TAKEN FULL ADVANTAGE OF THE MISTAKES THE HOOSIERS HAVE MADE. >>Dave: TO YOUR POINT THAT’S THE STORY OF THE QUEIRO FOR INDIANA. JUST MAKING MISTAKES AT THE WRONG TIME. LAGOW’S PASS DEFLECTED. ANOTHER INTERCEPTION. JOE FERGUSON, HAVE A DAY. TWO PICKS AND A FUMBLE RECOVERY FOR FERGUSON. FORMER WALK-ON.>>Greg: UNBELIEVABLE. LAW GOMOVING IN THE POCKET, MORE PRESRESU, BY THE WAY, UP FRONT FRONT THREE IN THIS PARTICULAR CASE. CONTACT ON THE THROW. RESULTS IN A HIGH BALL TO TIMIAN. AND A GREAT CATCH. BY FERGUSON. THAT’S HEARTBREAKING FOR LAGOW. JUST A LITTLE OFF AND THAT’S WHAT GREAT DEFENSES DO, DAVE AND TOM. GREAT DEFENSES, THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF WHEN YOU’RE JUST THE LITTLEST BIT OFF AND THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT WISCONSIN HAS DONE TODAY.>>Tom: NOW WE’LL SEE IF WISCONSIN CAN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT AND PUT THIS THING AWAY BEHIND THE STRONG RUN GAME.>>Dave: YOU PRETTY MUCH KNOW WHAT’S COMING HERE. >>Tom: NO QUESTION.>>Dave: CARRY NUMBER 28 ON THE DAY FOR JONATHAN TAYLOR TO THE 30 YARD LINE. HE HAS NOW PASSED BK 80 ON THE DAY. THREE 00-YARD GAMES THIS YEAR. THE FIRST BIG TEN FRESHMAN, HE HAD TWOTRAIT- FIRST BIG TEN FRESHMAN TO DO ITIN ME HART WHOOINCENTALLY IS THE RUNNING BACK AT INDIANA. FORMER MICHIGAN RUNNING BACK.>>Greg: HE’S REALLY GOING TO BE A SPECIAL PLAYER. SO FUN TO WATCH AND SUCH A SURPRISE. I DON’T THINK ANYONE EXPECTED HIM TO BE THE STAR HE IS THIS EARLY IN HIS CAREER.>>Dave: PLAY ACTION HERE. HORNIBROOK, UNLOADS, AND HAS A COMPLETION INSIDE THE 20 TO DANNY DAVIS. FIRST DOWN.>>Tom: THAT’S THE BEST THROW MADE SO FAR TODAY. >>Greg: YEAH. >>Tom: AT A TIME WHEN YOU THINK THEY WILL NEVER THROW IT.>>Greg: FLIPPING HIS HIPS. A LEFTY ROLLING RIGHT FLIPPING AROUND THROWING IT TO THE BOUNDARY REQUIRES SOME ARM STRENGTH, THAT THROW. I THINK THAT THIS PASSING GAME, IT’S NEVER GOING TO BE A REAL FOCAL POINT OBVIOUSLY. IT’S GOING TO BE SOMETHING THAT YOU DO WHEN THE DEFENSE THAT YOU’RE PLAYING AGAINST IS CAPABLE OF HOLDING UP AGAINST THE RUN AND THERE’S NOT MANY TEAMS IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL THAT CAN HOLE UP AGAINST THIS RUSHING ATTACK. INDIANA, THEY’VE HAD A TOUGH TIME ESPECIALLY IN THE SECOND HALF.>>Dave: TAYLOR GETS A YARD. TO THE 19 YARD LINE.>>Tom: I THINK THAT’S GOING TO BE A CHALLENGE TOO FOR WISCONSIN GOING FORWARD. IF QUIEZ CHUSS O FOR A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF TIME, HOW DO YOU COME UP WITH SOME EXPLOSIVE PLAYMAKERS IF YOU HAPPEN TO LIN UP. LET’S SAY IT’S THE BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP GAME AND THAT STINGY DEFENSE AGAINST MICHIGAN AND ALL OF A SUDDEN IT’S TOUGH SLEDDING FOR YOU OFFENSIVELY. CAN YOU FIND WAYS TO MOUNANUFACE PLAYS AND OTHER WAYS TO TAKE YOU OFF YOUR CYCLE AND RHYTHM. TOUGH FOR McQUISTAN IT IT PRESENTS ITSELF. >>Dave: WHO IS YOUR GO TO GUY BE HURT CEPHUS, JAZZ PEAVY HAS HERE’S GEK INSIDE THE 15. DOWN TO THE 12.>>Greg: OF COURSE, THEY’RE GOOD AT TIGHT END, FUMAGALLI, THREE DEEP ALL CAPABLE TARGETS. SOME MORE THAN OTHERS. OBVIOUSLY FUMAGALLI BEING THE FEATURE TIGHT END WHEN IT COMES TO THE PASSING GAME BUT I THINK A.J. TAYLOR HAS TO BE THAT GUY AND I KNOW HE’S A SOPHOMORE BUT I MEAN THIS WIDE RECEIVER GROUP FOR THE MOST PART, VERY INEXPERIENCED. HUGE QUESTION MARK COMING INTO THE SEASON AND NOW WITH THE INJURY TO QUINTEZ CEPHUS, NOT KNOWING WHERE HE’S GOING TO BE, YOU’RE GNG TAVE TO HAVE GUYS STEP UP. NOT THAT THEY’RE NOT CAPABLE. THEY JUST HAVEN’T BEEN AVERAGED TO DO IT YET SO IT’LL BE FASCINATING OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS TO SEE IF THEY’RE CAPABLE OF DOING IT.>>Dave: THIRD AND TWO. GROSHEK HAS THE FIRST DOWN AND MORE. FINALLY GET HIM TO THE GROUND AT THE 6 YARD LINE. YOU GOT TO HIT HIM LIKE SEVERAL TIMES TO GET HIM TO STOP RUNNING. GROSHEK.>>Greg: HE’S A GOOD BACK, MAN. WHEN YOU LOOK DOWN THE LIST AND SHAW AND OBVIOUSLY TAYLOR IS A STAR AND GROSHEK, YOU WOULDN’T THINK HE’ GS MY CARRIES AS HE ES BUTE DS S BECAUSE HE’S SO DIFCULTO BRING DOWN. HE SETS UP THE BLOCKERS AROUND HIM AND GOOD IN THE PASSING GAME IF THEY NEED HIM TO BE. A TACTICIAN, DOES EVERYTHING RIGHT AND SOMETHING TO BE SAID FOR THAT. HARD TO KEEP GUYS LIKE THAT OFF THE FIELD.>>Dave: THEY’RE GOING TO FEED GROSHEK AGAIN HERE. HE GETS STOOD UP. WISCONSIN GOING TO KEEP THAT CLOCK ROLLING. THE BADGERS ARE HOME TO PLAY IOWA. IT’S A 3:30 KICKOFF NEXT WEEK, 230 CENTRAL TIME. AND THEN THEY HAVE MICHIGAN COMING TO TOWN AND FINISH UP THE REGULAR SEASON AT MINNESOTA. YOU NEVER KNOW HOW COLD IT’S GOING TO BE FOR THAT GAME. WEATHER COULD BE A FACTOR.>>Greg: IT’S GOING TO BE INTERESTING TO SEE MICHIGAN. OBVIOUSLY A BIG GAME. WISCONSIN FANS ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT THAT ONE, RANDALL IS GOING TO BE ROCKING LIKE YOU WOULDN’T BELIEVE FOR THAT AND WHAT IS MICHIGAN NOW? MAKE A CHANGE AT QUARTERBACK. DOES THIS OFFENSE GET A SPARK WITH PETERS NOW IN THE LINEUP AT QUARTERBACK? IT WILL BE INTERESTING TO SEE.>>Dave: TIME-OUT HERE BY WISCONSIN WITH THE PLAY CLOCK DOWN TO TWO. QUTER,ISCOIN INCK IN THE FOURTH >>Dave: TAKE A LOOK AT OUR PACIFIC LIFE GAME SUMMARY WITH WISCONSIN LEADING 31-17, THEY TRAIL 10-0 AT ONE POINT. JONATHAN TAYLOR CLOSING IN ON PERHAPS ANOTHER 200-YARD DAY WHICH WOULD BE HIS FOURTH. TWO INTERCEPTIONS THROWN BY LAGOW. BOTH PICKED OFF BY JOE FERGUSON WHO ALSO HAS A FUMBLE RECOVERY, WISCONSIN’S GOT 14 POINTS OFF TURNOVERS LOOKING FOR MORE HERE AFTER THE LATEST INTERCEPTION. THEY’VE HAD THE SHORT FIELD IN THE SECOND HALF, RUN 35 PLAYS, 26 OF THEM HAVE BEEN IN INDIANA TERRITORY AND SCORED 17 POINTS. GROSHEK ON SECON DOWN FIGHTING FOR THE GOAL LINE BUT BROUGHT DOWN BY SCALES AT THE 1.>>Greg: HAVE TO BE SO IMPRESSED WITH THIS WISCONSIN OFFENSIVE LINE. THEY JUST LEAN ON YOU AND LEAN ON YOU AND IN PREPARING FOR THIS GAME AND WE’VE HAD INDIANA TWO OF THE LAST THREE WEEK, MAN, I’M IMPRESSED WITH INDIANA’S FRONT SEVEN. THEY’RE GOOD. THEY’RE ATHLETIC. THEY’RE BIG. THEY’RE STOUT AT THE POINT OF ATTACK AND COULD REAY HOLD UP WELL AGAINST BIG, STRONG OFFENSIVE LINES. THEY’VE HAD THEIR HANDS FULL TODAY AND THAT JUST IS A REAL TESTAMENT TO THE COHESIVENESS OF THIS GROUP AND HOW WELL THEY PLAY TOGETHER.>>Dave: GUESS WHO, INGOLD. ANOTHER TOUCHDOWN. THIRD SCORE TODAY FOR INGOLD. ONE THROUGH THE AIR, TWO ON THE GROUND AND THE BADGERS HAVE OPENED IT UP. YOU TALK ABOUT THAT OFFENSIVE LINE. I THINK YOU COULD MAKE THE CASE THIS LINE IS NOT THERE JUST YET. THEY’RE GOOD BUT THEY’RE ONLY GOING TO GET BETTER BECAUSE OF HOW YOUNG THEY ARE. WHEN YOU LOOK AT THEM AND YOU MAYBE DON’T SEE THAT FIRST ROUND PICK JUST YET.>>Greg: I SEE ONE.>>Dave: HE’S A SOPHOMORE. >>Greg: NOT A FIRST ROUNDER THIS YEAR BUT HE WILL BE, OF COURSE, THE RIGHT TACKLE. HAD THEIR HANDS FULL A LITTLE BIT IN PASS PROTECTION. BUT FOR THE MOST PART IN THE RUN GAME, THEY’REVERYING THA WE S>>Dave: OLIVE SAGAPOLU LIKES TO HAVE FUN AS ALEC JAMES WAS DOING THE FINGER LICKIN’ GOOD. THAT’S HIM AT 350 POUNDS. MALE CERLEER. 350 JUMPING AND DOING SPLITS.>>Dave: THAT WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL IN SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA. FINISHED THIRD PLACE AT THE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL CHEERLEADING CHAMPIONSHIPS. AND FOR SOME REASON, SOMEBODY ON OUR CREW THOUGHT, YOU KNOW, HE’D BE A GOOD IDEA SINCE SAGAPOLU CAN DO IT AT 6’2″, 350, IF THE THREE SLAPS IN THE BOOTH COULD DO IT ONLY ONE OF THEM IS UNDER 30. 2QBs AND A PASHCAL SEGMENT. AND LET GREG GO FIRST. ONE OF US IS PULLING A GROIN MUSCLE SO I FAKED IT. LOOK AT LUGINBILL.>>Tom: ATTENTION TO DETAIL.>>Dave: THE CHEERLEADERS VOTED AND PICKED HIM.>>Greg: YOUR EFFORT FOR THE MOST PART, TOM. >>Tom: WAS EXCEPTIONAL.>>Greg: LEFT A LOT TO BE DESIRED.>>Tom: I DON’T HAVE A MONITOR. WHAT IS THE SCORE? Gre WE N’T OW Y.>>Dave: WE DON’T KEEP SCORE. EVERYBODY WINS.>>Greg: WASN’T A TROPHY UNTIL YOU GOT THE LEAD.>>Dave: I CAN UNDERSTAND, YOU’RE A FORMER PRO ATHLETE AND TILL A YOUNG GUY, I FIGURE I’D GET YOU TRYING THAT. THAT’S UNFAIR TO MAKE — >>Greg: I CAN’T JUMP. >>Tom: MY FOLKS ARE DOWN HERE CHEERING ME ON, GUYS.>>Greg: OH, MAN.>>Dave: LAGOW AT SECOND AND TEN, THERE’S A FLAG DOWN, CATCH MADE BY BROOKINS. ACTUALLY HAD US ALSO — WITH THE FLAG BOY WE WERE CARRYING THE FLAGS RUNNING ACROSS THE FIELD.>>Referee: HOLDING, OFFENSE NUMBER 72. TEN-YARD PENALTY. REPEAT SECOND DOWN.>>Dave: I STILL DON’T REALLY UNDERSTAND HOW TOM GOT CHOSEN VICTORIOUS BY THE CHEERLEADING CREW. MAKES NO SENSE TO ME. OH, MY GOODNESS. CAN YOU GET SOME TAPE TO PATCH UP THE PANTS HE JUST RIPPED.>>Greg: SEND THE ATHLETIC TRAINER YOUR WAY, TOM.>>Dave: SECOND AND 20, LAGOW AND CAUGHT BY PHILYOR. TO THE 27 YARD LINE. WE MENTIONED THE FLAG. RUNNING WITH A FLAG. THIS IS LUGS.>>Greg: WELL DONE.>>Dave: VICTORIOUS DANCE. PLANT IT. TRYING TO FIND THE RIGHT SPOT WHERE IT WOULD STICK.>>Tom: I WAS COVERING THE ENTIRE STATE OF INDIANA. DON’T WANT TO LEAVE ANY POCKET, CITIES OR COUNTIES OUT.>>Greg: FAIR ENOUGH. THE HAPPY FEET, JUST THE QUICKNESS, THE SHEER FOOT QUICKNESS SHOWN AS YOU NAVIGATED THE STATE AND THE BORDER WAS TRULY OUTSTANDING.>>Tom: LIKE A BABY FAWN.>>Greg: EXACTLY HOW I’D DESCRIBE IT.>>Tom: A LESSER ATHLETE WOULD HAVE GONE DOWN.>>Greg: GO FEET ON FIRE. OH, MY GOODNESS. THAT’S TERRIBLE. THAT’S NOT GOOD. OH, MY GOODNESS. CRAZY FEET.>>Dave: EASTERN KENTUCKY WOULD BE PROUD.>>Greg: VERY MUCH SO.>>Tom: HEY, WHERE IS THE SCORE? HAVE YOU SHOWED THE SCORE YET. >>Greg: WE’RE NOT SHOWING THE SC SCORE. >>Tom: YOU’RE THE PLAY-BY-PLAY, GUY, CALL IT OUT.>>Dave: LUGINBILL HAS TAKEN THE LEAD. WHEN WE WERE DOING FOOTBALL I CLNS.N THE LEA OVETHESE TW LUGSAS THE LEAD OVER G. MAC.>>Greg: WE’LL GIVE DAVE THE LEAD AND THEN WE’LL COME BOWL SEASON OR THE POSTSEASON WE’LL START TRYING AGAIN, RETAKE THE LEAD AND NASH ON TOP. YOU GOOD WITH THAT?>>Tom: WELL YOU OBVIOUSLY KNOW WE’LL PLAY OUR BEST BALL IN DECEMBER. >>Dave: WE HAD THE PITCHFORK THROWING CONTEST AT ARIZONA STATE. >>Greg: I WON. MY SHOULDER IS STILL HURTING. D>>ave: THREE-POINT SHOOT-OUT AT NORTH CAROLINA.>>Greg: I WON.>>Dave: WHE HNAVE WE DONE FOOTBALL. >>Greg: WEEK ONE. >>Dave: WHO WON?>>Greg: I DON’T REMEMBER.>>Tom: YOU ON A TECHNICALITY BECAUSE WE GOT KICKED OFF THE FIELD. >>Dave: THAT STATEMENT IS TRUE. ON FOURTH DOWN. LAGOW GOING TO GET SACKED TRYING TO HANG OUT WITH THE BALL. SO WISCONSIN WILL TAKE OVER ON WNS. CASSIDY IS IN THE UDIO>>Cassidy: THANKS, DAVE. BACK TO THIS. THOMAS GIVES THE BULLDOGS A LITTLE BREATHING ROOM WITH THAT PUNT RETURN AND MISSISSIPPI STATE UP 34-23 ON THE S.E.C. NETWORK. 3:30, J.T. BARRETT AND OHIO STATE LOONG TO BUILD OFF THEIR BIG WIN ON THE ROAD AT IOWA AGAIN ON ESPN OR THE ESPN APP. DAVE, GREG, TOM. I WANT TO GET IN ON ONE OF THOSE DANIELS YOU GUYS ARE DOING.>>Dave: YOU HAVE AN EXCELLENT SHOT AT WINNING. >>Greg: I HAVE A FEELING SHE WOULD BEAT US PRETTY EASILY. WE’RE NOT KNOWN FOR RHYTHM IN THIS GREW. NOT GREAT DANCERS. THAT’S FOR SURE.>>Dave: JACK COAN IN AT QUARTERBACK. TRUE FRESHMAN. BACKUP AND HANDOFF TO ABOUT THE 13 YARD LINE SO LOOKING AHEAD FOR THE BADGERS THEY’VE GOT IOWA AND MADISON NEXT WEEK. MICHIGAN AND MADISON THE FOLLOWING WEEK THEN AT MINNESOTA.>>Greg: YOU GOT TO THINK THEY’LL BE HEAVILY FAVORED IN EACH ONE OF THOSE THREE GAMES. ‘S GNG TOE INTERESTING TO SEE OBVIOUSLY WHAT HAPPENS WITH MICHIGAN. REPLACING THEIR QUARTERBACK. BRANDON PETERS NOW UNDER CENTER FOR THE WOLVERINES OR AT LEAST LIKELY TO BE UNDER CENTER. JIM HARBAUGH DID NOT CONFIRM BUT WE CAN ALL JUMP TO A CONCLUSION THERE.>>Dave: THE CHANCES ARE PREY MUCH, YOU KNOW, 99% THEY’LL GET TO THE BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. IS IT GOING TO BE WISCONSIN/OHIO STATE AND IF SO CAN THEY HANG? THEY PLAYED IN THE 2014 CHAMPIONSHIP AFTER J.T. BARRETT WAS INJURED, CARDALE JONES LIT THEM UP. >>Greg: I THINK THEY CAN. I BELIEVE THEY CAN HANG THIS YEAR. NOW I KNOW THEY’RE YOUNG ON OFFENSE AND LET’S BE HONEST, ALEX HORNIBROOK HAS TO HAVE THE GAME OF HIS LIFE HITTING THROWS DOWN THE FIELD AND HIS WIDE RECEIVER S ARE GOING TO HAVE TO MAKE PLAYS BECAUSE RUNNING IT CONSISTENTLY AGAINST THOSE TEAMS IN THE BIG TENAST WHOEV REPRESENTS IS NOT GOING TO BE EASY. PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE IS THROUGH THE AIR.>>Dave: COAN’S PASS IS CAUGHT FOR A FIRST DOWN. BY PENNISTON AND LOOK, WISCONSIN’S GOALS RESPECT JUST TO WIN THE BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP AND ABSOLUTELY NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS, YOUR GOAL IS ALEX HORNIBROOK GOOD ENOUGH AT THAT POSITION?>>Greg: HE IS BECAUSE OF HOW THEY PLAY AND HOW THE PIECES AROUND HIM ALL COME TOGETHER. NOW, YOU CAN’T GO INTO THE GAME AND THROW IT TO THE OTHER TEAM. HE’S GOD TO THOUGH ONE TO THE OTHER TEAM ALMOST ONCE A GAME AND CAN’T DO THAT. HE CAN’T MAKE MISTAKES BECAUSE HIS TEAM IS BUILT TO PLAY WITH THE LEAD BUT IF THEY CAN SLOW IT DOWN AND MAKE IT A SLUGFEST IN A PHONE BOOTH BETWEEN THE TACKLES THEY CAN MATCH UP WITH JUST ABOUT ANYBODY.>>Dave: FIRST AND GOAL. HERE IS SHAW. RUNNIN RIG AND HE’LL MAKET EASILY. TOUCHDOWN, BADGERS. THIRD OF THE SEASON FOR BRADRICK SHAW. AND A LOT GOING ON IN FRONT OF WISCONSIN IN THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF RANKINGS THAT WILL DETERMINE WHERE THEY ARE ON TUESDAY NIGHT. STILL HAVE ‘BAMA, LSU COMING UP. NOTRE DAME IS HOME TO WAKE. YOU WOULD THINK THAT THE GAME AT NOTRE DAME SHOULD WIN BUT WAKE.>>Greg: WAKE IS BETTER THAN YOU THINK BUT NOTRE DAME SHOULD WIN.>>Dave: CLEMSON IN RALLY, BEDLAM, OKLAHOMA IS NUMBER FIVE, OHIO STATE IS IN IOWA CITY. AND TCU PLAYING TEXAS TONIGHT. “SPORTSCENTER” FRONT, 1:45 A.M. EASTERN. THEY’LL BREAK DOWN BEDLAM AND KIRK GIVES HIS TOP FOUR AND THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF RACE AND SIZE UP THE HEISMAN RACE AS SAQUON BARKLEY, IS IT HIS TO LOSE? I THINK IT’S WAY TOO EARLIY AND JONATHAN TAYLOR, 183 YARDS TODAY SO HE’S AT ABOUT 1360 WITH PROBABLY FIVE GAMES TO GO.>>Greg: HE’S IN THE CONVERSATION. HE HAS BEEN FOR THE LAST FEW WEEKS. NOW, SO UP THERE WITH SAQUON BARKLEY AND BAKER MAYFIELD AND J.T. BARRETT AND THOSE GUYS? NO, NOT YET BECAUSE HE HASN’T HAD A HEISMAN MOMENT YET. BECAUSE THE COMPETITION THAT HE’S PLAYED TO THIS POINT HASN’T WARRANTED A HEISMAN MOMENT SO PLENTY LEFT ON THE SCHEDULE. PLENTY OF MEAT ON THEON A YBE HE’LL HAVE ONE OF THOSE HEISMAN MOMENTS AGAINST OHIO STATE OR MICHIGAN DOWN THE ROAD.>>Dave: 29 CARRIES TODAY, 183 YARDS AND A TOUCHDOWN. HE’S A STAR.>>Greg: YOU LOOK AT JUST HOW QUICK AND SUDDEN HE IS. YARDS AFTER CONTACT. HE’S SO DIFFICULT TO BRING DOWN. YOU SEE, THAT’S COVINGTON, THAT’S ONE OF THE BEST LINEBACKERS IN THE BIG TEN. AND THEN ON THE JET SWEEP. LOOK AT THE SPEED IN THE OPEN FIELD. FELT LIKE HE WAS GOING TO BE CORRALLED. GAIN OF SIX, GOOD JOB DEFENSIVELY. NOT THE CASE. WHEN TAYLOR HAS THE BALL IN HIS HANDS, HE’S SOMEHOW MANAGES TO ESCAPE AND BURST TO THE OPEN FIELD FOR THE TOUCHDOWN. FOR THE BADGERS.MAN SHOW TODAY >>Dave: ALEX RODRIGUEZ GETTING THE CARRY. OUT TO THE 29. SO HERE’S HEISMANOLOGY THROUGH WEEK NINE. KAHLIL TATE ON TONIGHT. NOT PICTURED THERE IS JONATHAN TAYLOR BUT I THINK HE SHOULD BE. I MEAN HE’S GOING TO END UP BEFORE THE BOWL GAME IF HE’S CONTINUING AT THIS PACE, 18, 1900 YARDS AND MAYBE 20 TOUCHDOWNS.>>Greg: YEAH, IN ORDER TO GET TO NEW YORK HE HAS TO RUSH FOR 2,000. WHAT IT COMES DOWN TO. THE THRESHOLD FOR RUNNING BACKS. SOME CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES WHERE ALL PURPOSE YARDS WILL BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT FOR SAQUON BARKLEY, THAT’S WHAT IS SO BIG ABOUT HIS CANDIDACY, THE ALL-PURPOSE YARDS. HOW HE DOES IT ON SPECIAL TEAMS AND THROUGH THE AIR. IT’LL BE FASCINATING TO WATCH. AS YOU KNOW, THE HEISMAN IS ALMOST NEVER WON PRIOR TO NOVEMBER.>>Dave: TATE IS THE GUY THAT’S GOING TO BE INTERESTING TO WATCH IF ARIZONA WINS OUT. NOW IF THEY LOSE AGAIN OR LE A COUPLE GAME, WHICH THEY COULD. HAVE A TOUGH SCHEDULE INCLUDING TONIGHT ON THE ROAD. THAT’S GOING TO HURT HIS CAUSE AND HE DIDN’T HAVE THE SEPTEMBER THAT SOME OF THOSE OTHER GUYS DID. >>Greg: I DON’T THINK A LOT HAVE SEEN HIM PLAY. YOU KNOW, KAHLIL TATE, OBVIOUSLY ONLY STARTED FOUR GAMES SO NOT MANY PEOPLE ARE AWARE OF WHAT HE’S CAPABLE. YEAH, THEY LOOK AT THE NUMBERS AND SAY, MAN, ARE YOU KIDDING. THIS GUY IS RIDICULOUS. WAIT TILL THEY SEE HIM TONIGHT.>>Dave: RODRIGUEZ PICKING A HOLE. MAKES IT TO MIDFIELD. PRORNL ONE MORE SNAP AND THIS GAME IS OVER.>>Greg: THE HEISMAN IS VERY, VERY INTERESTING. OBVIOUSLY A LOT OF TIME LEFT.>>Dave: IN OKLAHOMA WINS TONIGHT AND BEATS TCU NEXT WEEK AND MAYFIELD PLAYS WELL IN THOSE TWO HE MAY JUMP TO NUMBER ONE. >>Greg: HE’LL BE TOUGH TO BEAT. THAT’S FOR SURE. ALREADY WITH ONE HEISMAN MOMENT ON THE RESUME WITH HIS PERFORMANCE AGAINST OHIO STATE WEEK TWO.>>Tom: IN ORDER TO GET THOSE WINS HE WOULD HAVE TO HAVE A FANTASTIC PERFORMANCE IN EACH OF THOSE GAMES. >>Greg: HIS DEFENSE CERTAINLY HAS NOT BEEN UP TO THE TANK. ALLOWED 31 POINTS IN OKAY. INTERESTING TO SEE HOW THEY HOLD UP TONIGHT AGAINST THE POKES IN STILLWATER.>>Dave: WISCONSIN TRAILED 10-0 BUT CAME STORMING BACK, TAKING OVER WITH THE RUN GAME AND MAKING THE MOST OF INDIANA TURNOVERS TO WIN THIS GAME, 45-17 AS THE BADGERS FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2004, 9-0. ONE OF FIVE UNBEATENS LEFT IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL AND WE’LL SEE IF THEY GET MORE LOVE FROM THE COMMITTEE THIS WEEK.>>Greg: STILL DON’T KNOW IF THIS WOULD BE THE GAME THAT WOULD GIVE THEM THE BOOST BUT IT’S COMING HERE VERY, VERY SOON AS TOM STANDS BY WITH PAUL CHRYST.>>Tom: ELIMINATED THE PENALTY, GOT YOUR RHYTHM ON OFFENSE. WHAT’S THE MESSAGE OF THIS FOOTBALL TEAM WEEK IN AND WEEK OUT WHEN YOU’VE GOT TO GO AND WIN TOUGH GAMES. >>WELL, I MEAN YOU KNOW IN THIS CONFERENCE YOU’LL PLAY TOUGH GAMES AND, IS THE FOCUS IS THAT WEEK AND ENJOY THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET TO PLAY A GAME AND DO IT TOGETHER AND THE WAY GUYS RESPOND BIG ON THE TAKEAWAYS CERTAINLY AND ENJOY THIS TONIGHT AND THEN YOU WANT TO COME BACK AND GET READY FOR THE NEXT ONE BUT WE’RE LUCKY TO DO WHAT WE DO AND PLAYERS ENJOY PLAYING AND IT’S A FUN GROUP TO BE AROUND. WE JUST GOT TO BE IN THE MOMENT AND ENJOY EACH OPPORTUNITY THAT IS WEEKLY PRESENTED TO US.>>Tom: SO MUCH OF THE FOCUS PARTICULARLY WITH FANS IS THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF RANKINGS. ALL YOU WANT TO DO IS PLAY GAME, WIN GAMES AND FOCUS ON THE NEXT ONE. HOW HAS YOUR TEAM RESPONDED. >>I THINK THEY’VE DONE A GOOD JOB. YOU WANT YOUR FANS TO BE EXCITED AND YOU WANT YOUR PLAYERS TO BE FOCUSED ON THE OPPORTUNITY THAT THEY’RE PLAYING AND THEY’VE DONE A GOOD JOB AND NEED TO CONTINUE TO. I THINK THAT’S HOW YOU ENJOY THE JONEY AT ISEON. THANKS, COACH. GO AND ENJOY IT. >>APPRECIATE IT, TOM.>>Dave: 30-6 AT WISCONSIN. 19-4 IN THE BIG TEN. 12-1 IN TRUE ROAD GAMES. A LOT MORE COLLEGE FOOTBALL COMING UP. CLEMSON AND N.C. STATE, OHIO STATE/IOWA THE 3:30 EASTERN GAMES. FOR GREG McELROY, TOM LUGINBILL, I’M DAVE PASCH. SO LONG FROM BOOMER BAKICH, INDIANA WHERE WISCONSIN

  1. We looked like a complete team this game… after the slow start. But I don’t get how we dominate a team and do our job and still fall in the AP Poll. If we fall in the playoff poll after OSU and PSU lost. Then I’m calling bullshit and bias all in one call!! #OnWisconsin

  2. Taylor definitely looked Heisman bound after this game. If not for those holding calls we kept having… he would’ve rushed for 200 yards once again!! #TAYLORforHEISMAN
