What Egypt Beach Volleyball teenager said about hijab before Rio

I asked about the issue of Hijab before I made the decision to start playing the game The Egyptian federation secured permission from the International to allow an Islamic uniform There was a ban on Hijab in indoor tounaments but it was lifted Thank Allah, We now have the permit to wear it. And that’s why I am able to play my game I sometimes feel a bit out of place during competitions, but I get over it My partner does not wear Hijab but she also does not wear a bikini As Egyptian women, Hijab or no hijab, we do not wear swimming suits in the game So is it easier for you because your teammates do not wear swimming suits? They wear shorts and short sleeve T-shirts and that’s totally fine by me If your partner wore a swimming suit, would that affect your focus? No. Not at all. I believe in freedom of choice What matters is that we are going to RIO to show that Africa is developing We are going not just to “represent” but to actually compete We aim to leave our own mark in RIO We want the other teams to take us very seriously the next time they face us

  1. I'm NOT a Muslim NOR Arabic, BUT I TOTALLY AGREE with Egypt to take THIS EXEMPLARY and EXCELLENT DECISION to dress their women players CORRECTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY MUST the women players DRESS LIKE THE PROSTITUDES???????????? This is a SPORT, RIGHT??????? It's NOT PORNOGRAPHY NOR PROSTITUTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By requiring the PROSTITUDE's dress to the women players, the officials of this so-called sport, are ENCOURAGING SEX CRIMES. THEY MUST BE PROSECUTED and JAILED FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. What does covering your head and wearing long sleeves and trousers during a hot volleyball match have to do with volleyball? You give yourself a handicap, and you want others to respect you for it? Wear your hijab by all means, but do you realize it comes at a cost of ridicule?

  3. Based on everything she said… I am happy for her. I appreciate that she is very supportive of the "choice" of others, and doesn't judge those who believe differently. I may not agree w/ her… but I support her mission to live her life the way she chooses. Representing Egypt in beach volleyball should be possible while observing her religion. SO WHAT if she's different? Good for her.

  4. this bitch is crazy if we go to a beach volleyball to see a flat ass like hers covered in a long dress which looks like shark….she gives the feeling that her vagina is untouched and she won't even spread her legs to tear her hymen.tell her to stay at home…. u should clad in beachwear in such a game. dies she wear clothes while bathing

  6. It troubles me that people think that these women have no say in how they want to dress. I've been to Egypt. I've seen women with hijab and without and both are treated equally. Muslims and Christians get along just fine, as well as covered Muslims and Muslims who choose not to cover. Most people who have so much to say have no idea what they're talking about, it's actually quite humorous. Maybe you should get off the internet and make a few extra dollars so you can see the world, rather than judging it though a screen. 😉

  7. bunch of disgusting racist comments made by ignorant europeans who never got out of their home towns since they were born and too arrogant to even consume the idea of others living just fine in a way that is different from the way they were brought up shut the tv for once and try to socialize you retards
