Turn The Weight Barrel Support Drill – Baseball Rebellion


Another great drill for de-emphasizing
the arms uses a 20-pound weight have the hitter hold the 20-pound dumbbell in
their back hand and if they’re younger obviously go lighter and just have them
turn with it if they let, if they let the dumbbell get out away from them then
obviously it’s going to pull them out way this is much harder to hold then if
I turn it up here so it’s very simple concept that hitters understand about
supporting the barrel with their arms high and close to their shoulder as
opposed to with their arms low and out away from their body
