REASON TO BE EXCITED THIS WEEK. NATS RUN IN, CHEERS ((JENNIFER)) THE ST. MATTHEW RAIDERS WON THE 1-A STATE BASEBALL CHAMPIONSHIP. IT’S THE CHAMPAIGN SCHOOL’S FIRST STATE TITLE FOR THE SPORT. THEY HELD A PEP ASSEMBLY TO CELEBRATE THE WIN AND TO CONGRATULATE THE TEAM. PLAYERS SAY IT TOOK EVERYONE TO MAKE IT HAPPEN. COLE KEMPER, 8TH GRADE PLAYER “Just playing as a team.
