Rail Yard Dawgs searching for consistency on ice

the Roanoke railyard dogs approaching the halfway point of their season they are right in the thick of the SP HL standings currently six the dogs out to a slow start this season mainly because they’ve seen six players called up to the ECHL including Dylan Fox who got the call this morning but this team tends to turn up the heat in the heart of winter they had a five game win streak in December to reach 500 on the season coach Dan Bremner says the drive of this team is there now it’s a matter of making it their mindset every single timeout we’re definitely more physical than we’ve been in the past I think the biggest issue with us right now is having that consistent physicality I think we’ve started a few games not soft but just not with that killer instinct and and we have to find a way every game to come up with that with that mentality I think you just got to take a playoff mentality right from Christmas on and I mean we had a pretty good stretch here before Christmas but kind of faulted a bit and I think a couple guys getting called up it’s definitely a time for some other guys to have some room to step up and I think that’s a big a big part of it just having everyone stepping up and kind of buying into the system and buying into the mentality that every game could be your last game the dogs are 12 and 12 on the year they’ll play making this weekend on the road tomorrow night at the Berlin Center Saturday
