put on a cheeky display at a charity polo match with Kate this afternoon. The Duchess of Cambridge, 37, stepped out
with her three children to watch Prince William, 37, play in the King Power Royal Charity Polo
Day. Prince Harry, 34, also took part in the event
at Billingbear Polo Club in Berkshire and Meghan Markle, 37, brought their two-month-old
son Archie along for the family outing. It is a rare joint appearance for the two
couples, who have faced ongoing rumours of a rift. Royal fans were looking forward to seeing
William and Harry at the polo but it was not known if their families would join them. Prince George, five, appeared to be having
fun as he played with a polo mallet and joined Princess Charlotte, four, for a game of football. Princess Charlotte, who was wearing her hair
tied back in a ribbon and a pretty dress kicked the ball around while George looked on and
giggled. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s children
had been running around playing all day at the charity polo match that both Prince Harry
and Prince William were competing in. William and Harry were on opposing teams at
the King Power Royal Charity Polo Day, which was being held in honour of late Leicester
City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, who died in a helicopter crash in October 2018. Earlier At one point an excited Louis, who
turned one in April, was spotted running along the sidelines before the Duchess of Cambridge,
Kate Middleton running after him at Billingbear Polo Club in Wokingham. Later on Kate took the children to the car
where they all enjoyed a picnic. The savvy mother had bought snacks for all the children
to eat, while the eldest, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, jumped into the back of
the car and boot. They were joined at the event by The Duchess
of Sussex – looking every inch the proud mother, Meghan, 37, was seen holding her son close
as she gave him a gentle kiss on his forehead. As princess Charlotte played with her brother
George she was dressed in a pink patterned dress, which had a collar and short sleeves,
she paired the dress with white Isla Sandals from John Lewis & Partners. While her brother
George was in a green t-shirt and long green shorts. All eyes were on young Prince Louis as he
tottered around excitedly on the grass and Kate regularly scooped him up in her arms. He looked adorable dressed in a navy blue
polo shirt and green shorts, he also wore the blue buckled shoes that her children are
known for wearing. Kate dressed well for the sunny weather, wearing
a pink L.K. Bennett ‘Madison’ dress, priced at £325, teaming it with Castaner wedges
and Catherine Zoraida earrings. She paired it with a Mulberry ‘Darley’ bag
in red croc, which she wore across her body so she had her hands free for the children. The Duchess of Sussex made a surprise appearance
with Archie days after his christening. Meghan Markle was dressed down in a khaki
green dress and designer sunglasses by Stella McCartney and enjoyed the action from the
shade of the small car park. Meghan kept close to the car as she hugged
her newborn son but also interacted with Kate’s children – chatting to George and also laughing
at cheeky Louis. At one point she was joined by one-year-old
nephew Louis and laughed as the toddler donned an oversized pair of shades and pulled a funny
face. Later on it seemed as though the family were
having a picnic from the boot of the car as George and Charlotte jumped into the back
and pulled out food for their mother. After the picnic more playing continued as
George and Charlotte kicked a ball about and Louis still looked energetic wandering around
as Kate watched on. William and Harry played against each other
in the match held in honour of late Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, who was
a fan of polo. Pictures show the competitive pair in action
on horseback, with William’s team winning.
