Major League Baseball Betting Quick Picks and Odds | August 24 2018

Welcome to MLB Quick Picks for Friday, the
24th day of August. Let’s get right into the action starting
with the Phillies over the Blue Jays in Toronto. Ryan Borucki has been absolutely eviscerated
over his last three starts, posting an ERA of 13.03 with 19 hits allowed in just 9.2
innings. Combining that with a Jays bullpen that has
a 6.13 ERA since the all-star break should equal an easy win for Philly, especially with
Jake Arrieta on the mound. Arrieta has done decent work on the road,
allowing 2 or fewer earned runs in 8 of his 12 starts outside of Philadelphia. Next up, the Oakland Atheltics over the Twins
in Minnesota. Sean Manaea gets the start for the A’s and
the Twinkies have been brutal vs left handers in the second half, ranking 26th in OPS and
average. Oakland, meanwhile, ranks first in OPS on
the road since the break and the bullpen has also been dynamite in this span, ranking first
in ERA. And we’ll wrap things up with the Astros
over the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, United States of America! Dallas Keuchel gets the start and I’m happy
to admit that this makes me very, very excited! Keuchel absolutely dominated the Angels a
month ago allowing zero runs and just two hits in 7.2 inning of work. The lefty has a long history of straight up
owning LA as Houston has won 9 of his last 10 starts against them. And one last bonus pick as we’ll go with
the inmates at the New Jersey State Center of Corrections over the guards in the annual
August classic. The jail birds have never been more motivated
to get revenge and I love the value they’re offering as a +275 underdog. That does it for this edition of MLB Quick
Picks! For the best MLB betting coverage on the world
