How to spin serve in Table Tennis ft. Suh Hyo-Won | Olympians’ Tips

HOW TO… Serving is my biggest strength so I am going to teach you
how to serve. To serve well, you need to
generate a lot of ball spin. Firstly, lots of spin, and the second is a strong
and quick impact. TIP 1: TRY TO GENERATE
AS MUCH SPIN AS POSSIBLE Lastly, it’s important to put
some movement in your stroke. The movement will
confuse your opponent and mask what kind of spin
you’re putting on the ball. TIP 2: EXPERIMENT
MASKING YOUR SERVES WITH DIFFERENT MOVEMENTS The most important thing
is to loosen up. If you don’t, you won’t
deliver the serve well and it’ll be easy for
the opponent to hit back. Losses up first. When you toss the ball up,
don’t hit it when it’s high. Strike it when
the ball comes down. If you serve like that, you can generate a lot of speed
and spin. That’ll help you win
more points. TIP 3: STRIKE THE BALL ON ITS
WAY DOWN FOR MAXIMUM SPIN I’ve shown you my best stroke. Hope you can practise
and use this in your game. Thanks for watching. HOW TO…
