AD *Melbet.org* AD Hello viewers, welcome to Nothing But Cricket In this video I’m going to explain how to identify chucking Not all bowlers who bend their elbow are not chuckers So I’m going to tell you how to find the difference between legal and illegal bowling action Most of you are confused in this topic A bowler with legal action is misread and claimed as illegal bowler in number of occasions Already I posted a video about this but still I saw many confused comments So before going into video please do subscribe and also press the bell icon If you aren’t following me instagram please do follow for daily cricket posts. you can find instagram link in description and first comment Lets go into the video All bowlers who bend their elbow are not chuckers Only the bowlers who EXTEND THEIR BENT ARM WHILE BOWLING are chuckers Chucking is EXTENDING THE BENT ARM AND THROWING THE BALL there are bowlers who bowl with bent elbow but have a legal action. those bowlers will not extend their bent elbow while bowling and the angle of elbow will be less than 15 deg. the elbow of the bowler can be bent and extended while bowling up to 15 degree Not all bowlers can rotate their arm straight That’s why the rules give 15 degree flexibility Legspinners will cock their wrist while bowling so it is hard to keep their elbow straight there will be no control that is why that 15 degree exception is given Similarly Off-spinner who use their wrists to a greater extent face this issue. So if these bowlers have their elbow under 15 degree their action is not illegal So only if the bent elbow is extended it is illegal but also has an exception up to 15 degree. So if these bowlers have their elbow under 15 degree their action is not illegal These are the complicated rules for chucking So majority bowlers can’t bowl without flexing the elbow a bit because of action and alignment If they try to do so, they might not get good control. Chucking is EXTENDING THE BENT ARM AND THROWING THE BALL So only if the bent elbow is extended it is illegal but also has an exception up to 15 degree. We wont be having throwing impact with a flex of 15 degree This is what I wanna discuss with you guys in this video You can’t judge a bowler’s action just by bare eyes For example most of us claim Harbajan as chucker because he bends his elbow a bit This is clearly a misunderstanding Not all bowlers who flex their elbow aren’t chuckers There are a number of complicated equipment and process to find the bowling action is legal or not you can find those tests in youtube itself if a bowler is claimed to have an illegal action then that bowler have to take various tests before he bowls again So with bare eye analysis we cannot come to a conclusion unless the bowler chucks it deliberately So I hope you guys now have a clear idea about chucking Share this with your friend and leave a like Before leaving please do subscribe and also press the bell icon to get updates from NBC Thanks for watching, Keep Supporting.
