[Music] the Coastal Bend Sports Authority Allen Harwell with your Chris Singh Sports report I could do to your body well we’ve reached the second half of the high school softball season and one of the teams that has made a huge statement so far is the Carroll Tigers they’re big rowdy cry this year has been why not us three straight years of making it to the fourth round of the playoffs they are hoping now that the fourth year is their charm and for these seniors while they’re determined to make it this year their year to go to state seven starters back and tell you why they’re doing pretty good Tigers sit at top first place in district 29 5-8 with a 92 1 record among the seniors first catch of koecher’s samantha gonna who has already signed to play for the islanders next season says the culture of the team this year could be the big difference a lot of talent you know it’s not just about talents about our team culture and just working together and trusting each other we have a lot of love for each other and we communicate well on the field and off you know it’s just not on the field that we’re you know great teammates also feel – they’re like a second family a lot of it actually I trust on my teammates the same as I hope they trust me I know that if they go up there to bat or if they make a play and I look at it done I definitely think we have the tools I think that staying healthy and just committed to the process and understanding that it’s a day-by-day thing that we’ve got to stay connected and keep that chemistry that chemistry go on and I you know I think we have a shot well they certainly had the talent and the right frame of mind to go deep in the playoffs up next for the Tigers is the date with Ray on Saturday afternoon
