4/17/16 – Baseball – UW-Oshkosh 9, UW-La Crosse 10


Evening everyone thanks for stopping by. After a couple weekends of drama free baseball for UWL – we get the first crazy finish of the spring at Copeland today. Double header – game one
– Oshkosh manager Kevin tom-ah-shev-itsTomasiewicz – I’ll take my lunch early today – thank you. 5th inning. Johnny Eagen slaps it through the left side. Two runs come in Eagen ends up with a two bagger. Oshkosh up 4-1 Bottom half of the 6th… Nate Heili – right back up the middle. An RBI single UWL is within a run… 7th inning Robbie Kleman past Adam Cordova at short. Brings in another run Titans back up three Bottom half Eagles –Joel Zyhowski — past third. Plates two. Eagles score four in the 7th to up 7-6. To the 9th… Oshkosh down by 2. 2 on Kleman – changes that. First pitch swinging – three run shot. Oshkosh goes up 9-8… Bottom nine – men on second and third – two outs Justin Anderson – fair ball One run is in – Cordova waved home – Fly Like an Eagle. 10-9 UWL stays perfect in conference. Game 2 – another good one – 5-4 UWL in the 6th inning.
